=Introduction=

Armored Core 2 is the 4th in the Armored Core Series. There is Armored Core, Armored Core:

Project Phantasma, Armored Core: Master Of Arena, and Armored Core 2. There are more parts

then ever and better graphics, harder missions, and more cheats! One bad thing, you can’t

use your old AC’s in the new one. They still have the one weapon that has stuck through

all of the Armored Cores, The Karasawa! That is, in my opinion, the best weapon in the game.

V 1.0-Got all Missions up, most of the Arena done, all Secret Parts done, all Secrets

Cheats and Codes done, and the build my AC.

 

V 1.1-Got all of the arena done, added the AC Test in the Garage, made a cool design

around the different sections, checked my spelling, put up an cool ACSII intro, I am

also _going_ to put up a full parts list. This will take a long time so please be

=Controls=

----------

 

D-pad-Moves you in the direction that you push.

 

Circle button-Attacks with a laser blade or makes you use the shield. Circle also

opens doors and pushes buttons when close.

 

X Button-Makes you jump, except tanks and floating legs. Hold it down to boost up.

 

Triangle Button-Switches the current weapon. You can see which one is activated by

watching it move and get ready to fire.

 

Square Button-Fires the current weapon.

 

L1/R1-Makes you strafe right or left.

 

L2/R2-Moves you’re lock sight up and down.

 

L3-This is used by pressing down the left analog stick on the analog controller.

Switches on or off your extension.

 

R3-This is used by pressing down the right analog stick on the analog controller.

Makes you over boost.

 

Select-Brings up the map if you have one in your head.

 

Start-Pauses the game. Press Select to quit the mission or arena fight.

AC Test in the Garage-Part

Requester: You!

Pay: Knowing how your AC works

Location: In a small dome

Enemies: The two flying MTs

Objective: Destroy those MTs

 

Just destroy those two flying things. Not very tough.

 

Part: Shoot the center of the ceiling until it blows up. Fly up there and get the

radar. If you are having trouble, look at the cheat section for the Unlimited Energy Code.

 

Raven Test

Requester: Nerves Concord

Adv: 0

Location: Zio Satellite City

Enemies: Rebel Army

Objective: Destroy All MT's.

 

This isn’t much of a mission. It’s the one you do to be registered in the arena as a raven.

This mission shouldn’t be too difficult. Just stay in that tunnel and blast the MTs.

If you're having trouble, try moving side to side with L1 and R1. The last MT is twice

as tough, but should still be pretty easy.

 

MT Suppression

Objective: Destroy all MT's

 

This one might prove to be a little more difficult. The MTs have shotgun like fire and

they always almost hit you with at least one shot. My suggestion is to stay in the hallway

as long as you can, shooting the MTs outside. When you have to go out, duck back in after

a couple of shots. When you kill all the ones in the hallway, go back the way you came and

keep going through 3 doors. You’ll be by another hallway, do the same tactics there. When

you get finished with those, go right of where you came in to a door with a C above it.

Go in there and then you’ll be in a room, not a hallway this time. Destroy the MTs in there

and you’ll be done with that mission.

 

Eliminate Informer

Objective: Destroy the traitor

 

There will be about 5 MTs attacking you. May not sound like much, but they have missiles.

All you have to do is find the truck. He is always guarded by 2 MT. It’s shouldn’t be too

hard to find him. If you having trouble, destroy some MTs along the way, that will make

your search easier. Also, if you have enough money, buy a missile interceptor as an extension.

 

Defend The Bridge

Location: Bridge Gate

Enemies: Zio Matrix

Objective: Destroy all corporate forces

 

When you start out, run side to side to avoid their machine gun fire. Shoot all that

are in your range. Fly to the second part of the bridge and fire all within your range

again. Fly to the last part and watch out because the bridge falls apart in two places

on that part. Kill everyone there and you’re done.

 

Attack Rektena Installation

Objective: Destroy the power plant and solar collectors

 

Destroy all of the planes from where you stand, but be sure not to let them knock you out

of the area. After all those are done, destroy the guns that are on the rocky ledges.

After you destroy all of those, then this mission will be easy as pie. If you destroy a

little bit of the base then you get 3,200 as a special bonus. The MTs will usually take

care of that for ya though. There are 6 solar devices. One you should have seen and

destroyed when you first start the mission. Another one is to the left of the starting

point. 2 are by the base, and one is to the left of the base behind that rocky ledge.

Then the last one would be on the outskirts of the mission area. Now you’re done.

 

Remove Disorder Units

Objective: Destroy all enemy units

 

All you have to do is destroy the robots that inhabit that tunnel. I suggest a machine

gun for this, because there are a lot of ‘em. Run side to side and they’ll miss you

almost every time. After you kill them all, you’re done! Easy!

 

Capture Cargo

Requester: Emeraude

Objective: Destroy the transport and capture the cargo

 

Take a high damage, solid ammo weapon for this one. When you start the mission hit over

boost and follow the vehicle, pelting whatever you’re gun locks onto. After the cutscene,

run side to side to avoid the lasers this thing has. Pelt it with your high damage weapon

and it should go down before you.

 

Defuse Explosives

Adv: 0

Pay: 43000

Location: Howard Sea Base

Enemies: Unknown

Objective: Defuse all explosives

 

First off, look to your right, see that hump with the bomb on it? Grab it. There are 3

more Humps like that. One to the NW, one to the NE, and one on the high level in the NE.

And then, in the middle of the base, there is a tower. There is a bomb on there. Then

you’re done!

 

Defend Arden River Lab

Requester: Zio Matrix

Objective: Destroy the forces before they cross our lines of defenses

 

For this mission take a head with an area & place name memory. You’ll also want to take a

radar. Look at the map and find point B and boost over there. Destroy everything that is

there, the planes and the little robots. Then wait for something to appear on your radar.

When it does, blow it up. There are 3 of those little ships that you saw in the mission

information to kill. If one of them gets by quickly boost up to point A and kill it. If

it gets past point A, it’s all over. This is one of the hardest missions for me.

 

Spaceport Escort

Requester: LCC

Objective: Protect the lift pad.

 

At the start of the mission you’ll get a cutscene and then some planes will attack. Destroy

all of ‘em, but theirs a lot of them. After about 3 a big bomber will come in and attack

the place. Guard those raised platforms. If both of those raised platforms blow up, your

mission is over. Try standing on them, That will redirect most of the damage to you.

If you are running low on ammo, then go to those little robots on the sides of the mission

area and hit O. They will reload you.

 

Assist Melea Base

Objective: Destroy all units.

 

More of those disorder units. These Disorder Units are tougher than before. Take a high

ammo machine gun and a moderatly armored AC and just destroy all of ‘em.

 

Escort Train-Part

Requester: Balena

Adv: 0

Location: Schiaparelli Railroad Terminal

Enemies: Emeraude

Objective: Protect the train and it's cargo.

 

First, attack the planes that will come in. After you kill all of those, an AC will

come and attack both you and the train. Kill him before he kills you or the train.

 

Part: In the second to last car there is a part. Destroy the car and get it. This

will make you lose the mission though.

 

Guard Secret Information-Part

Requester: Emeraude

Location: Talent Underground Factory

Objective: Rendezvous with Emeraude AC

 

There are robots with shotgun-like fire. Destroy all that you can even though your

communication says not to. This will make it a lot easier. When you reach a room with

2 doors take the one in front of you. Go through and when you get to an elevator,

go down it. Go to the room on the left when you get down. A cutscene will occur and

you’ll finish the mission.

 

Part: You will want to take the head with the highest hacking rating(5). When you

get to the room with the 2 doors, take the one on the left. You will see some containers,

blow them up. When all of em are gone, you can see a grate. Blow that up and fall down.

The part is down there.

 

Ground Based Attack-Part

Location: Terrana Mountains Great Bridge

Enemies: LCC forces

Objective: Destroy all units

 

All you have to do is destroy all opposing forces. They will come right in front of you,

all you have to do is attack. If you’re having trouble, try strafing.

 

Part: Boost all the way down to the end of the bridge. Stop before the last support

brace. Fly under the bridge and go in that little pocket. Grab that.

 

Save Water-Generation Plant

Requester: LCC

Location: Pax Water Generator

Objective: Destroy plants main control device

 

You will find four strong MTs when you begin. Destroy all of them and then go into the

crevasse on the right. Go to the left, fall down the shaft and look out. The panels in

the floor fall down to reveal lave. Go to the left and activate the emergency cooling

system. Exit to find 2 more strong MTs. Kill them and go forward. Activate the cooling

again and exit. 2 more MTs await your presence. Kill them and go right. Kill the 2nd to

last of the strong MTs. Go forward and you will find 2 disorder units. Kill them and go

forward again. The last MT is siting there just waiting to be killed, so do it! When

you’re done with him go right and you will find the end, and also a disorder unit. Kill

him, which might be a challenge, and then destroy the little ball thing. That’s the end

of the mission. If you destroy any of the cooling systems, you will get downed 1,000c.

 

Assault Underwater Base

This is one of those missions where you destroy whatever you want. The more you destroy,

the more money you get. All you have to do for this mission is go through all of the

doors and destroy everything you see. When you get to a room with huge things hanging

from the ceiling, blow all those up, even though your AC is getting drained of its AP.

When you are finished blowing everything up, you will get a message saying to return

and a cutscene. Then, go back to the beginning and you will see a AC waiting for you.

Destroy it fast,  because your AC probably took a beating. Then the mission is finished.

You get money for everything you destroyed.

 

Rescue Research Team-Part

Objective: Rescue research team and recover pod

 

Gall down the shaft and skip the disorder units. Go NE and ride the cool elevator to

a cool looking door. Open that and then open the door second on the left. The mission is

done. Easy, huh. You can finsh this mission without even firing a single shot.

 

Part: When you get to the elevator, look on the floor. Wait until you see a different

colored panel from the rest. Blow that up and the Moonlight wait there for you.

 

Arden River Invasion

Enemies: Helicopters, MTs

Objective: Attack defending Forces

 

All you have to do is destroy everything you can. You get a bonus for each thing you kill

and that’s how you get your money. If you get a message saying that you should abort, don’t.

Kill some more stuff and then you will get a cutscene and the mission will be done. I earned

105,000c this way. That’s a lot of money for that mission.

 

Infiltrate Radar Base-Part

Objective: Destroy the radar array

 

When you start off go NW then follow the path around. Go right again then go NW, right and

follow it around. Open the door that you’ll come up on soon and go forward. Open the door.

There will be lasers on the ceiling. Blow those up by strafing right, shoot, then strafe

left to avoid unnecessary damage. Go through the door at the end of the hallway and OB to

the next hallway. More lasers there, take care of ‘em. Go through 2 doors to find more

lasers. You know what to do. Go forward and into the elevator. You will get re-supplied.

Kill everything out there and then destroy all of the radars and then you’re done.

 

Part: On the far right you will see 6 storage containers. Blow up the openings to find

the piece.

 

Destroy Radar Base-Part

Requester: LCC

Objective: Destroy main computer

 

Kill all the enemies you find outside. Then you will get re-supplied and be on your way

inside the complex. There will be 3 MTs waiting for you. Kill them and then go up then

right. More of the same. In the next room there are strongerMTs and laser on the ceiling.

Kill all in there or just skip and go right. Then you’ll come to an elevator. Going down?

There will be more lasers and a MT when you get down there. Open the door at the end and

be prepared for a fight against a fellow Raven. Then just destroy the things on top of

the ball.

 

Part: When you begin, you will see the same storage containers as you did in the last

mission. Get the part in the same storage container, sweet!

 

Stop the Surface Weapon-Part

Objective: Disable the SRBIA

 

Hard Mission. You have to kill all of the weapons that thing has before it reaches a

radar base. My suggestion is take the grenade rifle and use that against him. It

blows stuff up in one to two hits, but not a lot of ammo.

 

Part: If you go to the outskirts of the mission area you will see an item laying

there. To the right of where you begin. Pick it up. The best weapon, in my opinion,

in the entire game.

 

Guard HQ Rooftop

Objective: Destroy all enemy forces

 

Fly up that huge thing and land on the top. Blow up any and all plans you see. After

you destroy 2 fleets, 2 MTs will attack you. Fall down to the bottom and attack them,

that simple.

 

Attack Research Team

Requester: Strung

Adv: 65000

Location: Falna Crater

Enemies: Unknown

Objective: Destroy all enemy forces

 

In this mission Strung will accompany you. Destroy Holy Mother as quickly as possible

because when you do, Strung will attack you. That’s right, he has turned on you. Kill

him fast because you will most likely have had a lot of damage from Holy Mother.

 

Destroy Containers-Part

Requester: Zio Matrix

Location: Arsia Mountains

Enemies: Unknown

Objective: Destroy all containers

 

There will be boxes lying around that you have to destroy. After about 3 minutes of

searching for the boxes, a fleet of MTs and planes will attack you. Kill them all,

and then some Frightners will attack. Kill those as quickly as possible. When you’re

done with them, continue to search for the containers.

 

Part: In one of the crevasses there is a hole blocked by ruble. Destroy the and there

will be a part just waiting there to become part of your arsenal.

 

Recover Stolen Files

Requester: Zio Matrix

Enemies: MTs

Objective: Plant Bomb and Escape

 

 

There are two routes. Take the one on the right of where you start. If you take the

other one, you’ll get spotted, regardless of what you do. Enter and take the elevator

down. Go in the door behind you and destroy the two MTs. Look up after you have done

that and you will find two bustable panels, destroy the one furthest away from where

you entered. You will fall down a hole when you are out of the tunnel. Go opposite of

where the lasers are and enter the door. Kill the two MTs that are in the door. Go

forward again and then kill two more. Then jump up where the red button is and press O.

If you do it right you should get a cutscene. You have 5:00 to leave. That is plenty of time.

Kill those two ACs and you’re home free.

 

Escort Submarine

Requester: Zio Matrix

Objective: Escort Submarine

 

This mission is HARD!! First you have to protect the plane from a battle ship AND flying

airplanes, and if you survive that then you have to fight an enemy battle cruiser. All

while trying not to land in the water or letting the submarine blow up. Ok, a little

hint. Shoot as many planes as you can before the battle ship comes. Then fly over and

land somewhere on it. Destroy all of the weapons it has on it fast. Then fly back over

and protect the submarine again. When the battle cruiser comes, fly over to that and

destroy all opposing forces there. Then destroy some more planes and then the mission is

done. If you survive all of that, give yourself a pat on the back, all that money and

start saying hallelujah! You have beaten, by far, the hardest mission. I think it is harder

that Phobos.

 

Investigate Murakumo Dome

Objective: Investigate Murakumo Dome

 

Kind of hard. You will have to defeat two ACs. This may prove a little difficult. They

have missiles, so get missile protection if needed. This is a huge place, with many

buildings to hide behind. Just take a high damage weapon and let 'er rip.

 

Underground Railway-Part

Requester: Zio Matrix Earth

Objective: Destroy all enemy forces

 

Take a high damage weapon. First, there will be a little bit of those blasted disorder

units. Just skip 'em by flying over them. Then you will come to a hole which has been

blasted with something. Go down there and a long hallway will be there with some

disorder units. Skip or kill them and then when you get to a dead end, look below

to find a blastable panel. Blow it up and fall down, go through 2 doors and a HUGE

disorder unit will be there waiting for you. Blast it with that high damage weapon

while strafing left and right to avoid most of its fire.

 

Part: When you get to the blastable panel on the floor, look up, a part will be

waiting inside that blastable panel.

 

Abort Missile Launch

Objective: Stop the Missile Launch

 

In the beginning, go through a series of doors, and then blow up the grating at the

end. Fall down being a close to the wall as possible to dodge the mine planted there.

Blow up another grating and you'll fight Infinity. You can skip him, but I'd kill

him. He gives you an added bonus of 6,000c. After you do that, go through the

blastable panel opposite of where you came in. Fly over the mine and then make your

way through the twists. When you come to a fall, stay as close to the wall as

possible again. Then follow till you fall down. Blow the grating and fight Red Fury.

6,000c for her as well. Now, look at the one door. Turn around and see those really

big doors with the panels next to them. Those are the launch devices. Blow up 1, 3,

and 5 starting from the left and the mission is done. It took me a while to figure

this out, but it happened finally.

 

VIP Escort

Requester: LCC

Location: Vilhul Spaceport

Enemies: Unknown

Objective: Guard the Spaceport

 

In this one you are told that you will be paid to sit there and look pretty. Not

the case. The special forces will revolt and it's your job to stop them. These

things are fast and have that rapid machine gun. Take a tough AC armed with some

powerful weaponry. That will take them down quickly. Destroy them all and a

cutscene will take place, telling you the mission is over.

 

Zio City Suppression-Part

Requester: Earth Government

Location: Zio City

Enemies: Special Forces

Objective: Destroy all enemy forces

 

Here you have to destroy to laser firing special forces people. Kind of hard. Again,

take a high damage and a high AP and energy defense person for this. They will be

very fast since they both have floating legs. They will be in the air a lot, which

for me, makes it a LOT tougher. Just kill them and the mission is over.

 

Part: In a maze of green buildings, not the one to your left or right but diagonal,

is the Orbit Canon. This may be hard to find since you have two guys pelting you

on the back while you are searching for the part. Take a shield if you're having

trouble.

 

Underground Lab

Requester: Earth Government

Location: Old Laboratory

Enemies: Special Forces

Objective: Eliminate Special Forces

 

Some disorder units await you. Kill them or skip. Some Mts are in the next hallway. Do the

same to those. More disorder units there. you know what to do. Then some laser canon firing

robots will attack you. Kill them and then go through 2 huge doors. I suggest you overboost

past all of the enemies. Follow the path around and then kill the disorder unit and you

are done.

 

Spacestation Assault

Requester: Earth Government

Location: Hammerhead Space Station

Enemies: Special Forces

Objective: Destroy all enemy forces

 

Take a powerful weapon for this one. Destroy or skip everything that awaits you. Go through

the door by destroying the thing on the right. Go through some more doors and meet more MTs.

Skip those and fly around the huge generator and through the door on the opposite side. An

AC and lasers are ready there. I suggest you destroy those. Go right after you have done

that and a huge disorder units is there. Kill it with that powerful weapon, and then a

cutscene will take place. Turn around and go through the door you came from. Go right then

and you will be finished with the mission. Easy.

 

Eliminate Leos Klein-Part

Objective: Destroy enemy AC

 

Take a machine gun and a really powerful weapon for this. When you start out follow the

path till you find a elevator. Go down and follow another path. You will find lots of

mines. Destroy them with one hit from your machine gun. Follow the path that the mines

lead to and you'll find Leos Klein waiting for you. He is pretty powerful, but your

really powerful weapon should do the job. Make sure though, not to damage the red towers.

If you do, then you will get downed some bucks. I have never had the whole Rapture thing

blow up on me, so...

 

Part: You will need the highest hacking rating for a head (5). When you get to a hallway

with the mines and two doors, take the one on your left. There will be a generator

waiting right there for ya.

 

Infiltrate STAI Battleship

Requester: Earth Government

Enemies: Unknown

Objective: Stop the SRBIA

 

At first you have to protect yourself from attacks until they get the door open. Once they

do, find the door and you will get reloaded. Go through the door and your friend will die.

Turn right and kill the disorder units. Follow the path until you get to what looks like

a dead end. Turn right and you will find a door. Go through it. Destroy the flying MTs

and go right. Over Boost past all of the enemies, and then go straight through the door

and Boyle will attack you. Kill him and go through the door. Klien will attack you. He

is pretty difficult. Blow him up and that's the end!!

 

Phobos

Objective: Eliminate Klien

 

Take the heaviest armored AC you can afford for this one, cause it's HARD!! I suggest the

large-6800 damage-missiles or the middle missile that fires 4 missiles and the extension

that fires four missiles. When you begin, there will be a long hallway. When you get to

the end, there will be some lasers on the ceiling. There will also be that disorder

unit that you had to beat in the Capture Cargo stage. When you kill all those, don't use

your powerful stuff, destroy those thing that make the shield.  They look like little

towers. Then go in the center and go down the cool elevator. When you get down, there will

be some more of those lasers. I suggest skipping them. Fall down the hole in the center

and skip what's down there and go in the door. Then comes the hard part. There will

be a huge disorder unit waiting for you. Lock onto it with that powerful thing I told

you to bring and then open the door, fire, then retreat. If you did it right, you

should've only gotten hit with a little bit of machine gun fire. Keep on doing that

until he dies, then open and overboost to the other end. Open the door at the end

and go down the long hallway. You'll be reloaded with ammo and you’ll get a cutscene,

and then you should go forward. Klein will be waiting there for you. Shoot him with

that powerful thing until he goes down. You will get another cutscene, and get reloaded.

He will still be alive, shoot him with that powerful thing some more and he will go down.

Congratulations, you have killed Klein, but don't celebrate yet. You now have to go behind

him and open that door, go down the cool hallway and then destroy the huge control system.

Now, celebrate, cause you beat the game!

Infinite Energy:

This one is real handy if you’re using an energy weapon that uses a lot of energy and you

want to boost. Press L2, R2, R3 together at the same time without pausing.

If you did it right, a system error message will come up that says "Limiter Release".

You will get infinite energy for about a minute, then the downside. After that minute

you will get an error message saying "OB Down" OB is Over Boost. That means that you can’t

use your over boost, your regular boosters and any energy weapons. Still, if you’re real

good, you can destroy your opponent in that time. I did this trick on my brother. In

the Orbital Ring Vs. Stage, I fell off the end. He and I knew I wouldn’t make it back

up there, so I did that trick while falling and flew back up and killed him.

 

Plus Enhancements:

If you fall below -50,000c then you will get a cutscene. After that you will have to start all

over. The good thing about that is that you get a radar. A radar built in. If you fall

below again and again here is what you’ll get:

 

1st time- Radar-260 click

2nd time- Laser Blade wave (press O to use the blade, then quickly press X)

3rd time- Head Reduction-hits take away half as much heat.

4th time- Fire Strong Back Weapons While Standing or Moving

5th time- Half Energy Use For Boosters and Energy Weapons

8th time- Double Cooling Power.

 

Overweight AC:

If you beat the game (complete the Phobos mission), then you will be able to use an overweight

AC. It will still say overweight, but you’ll be able to battle with it. You can also have your

arms overweight and still play.

 

Arena Emblem:

When you beat an arena competitor, go back into the screen where you see the AC. Then hit

Start and Select at the same. If you do it right you will hear a sound, if you didn’t keep

hitting Start and Select till you hear that sound. Go to your garage and choose edit emblem,

then you will see the emblem of the person you selected. Cool!
