College Advisers
Mr. Lagor has been in the college office since his
arrival to The Hill in the fall of 1987. As a French
teacher, hockey coach, and dorm parent, he has many
opportunities to connect with the students with whom he
works in the college process. Mr. Lagor lives with his
wife and three children in Robins House.
Chuck Garrettson is Asst. Director of College advising and a teacher in the Theology Department. He lives in Wendell 3 and helps with the tennis instructional program. He graduated in the Hill class of '71, received his B.A. from the University of Virginia, his M.A.R. from Yale Divinity School and his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. He comes from Muhlenberg College, where he both taught religion and worked in the admissions office. Karen Walbridge - Assistant Director Mrs. Walbridge has a long and distinguished tenure in
the college office, dating back to 1984. Mrs. Walbridge
earned her degree in English from Ursinus College. After
sixteen years in the dorm, Mrs. Walbridge and her
husband, Science Department Chair Emeritus Ryckman
Walbridge, now live in a home on campus. The Walbridges
have one daughter in college and another who is a high
school junior. |
