INTERVIEWS

Although interviews are no longer a part of the evaluation process at many colleges, they are still offered by some institutions and are a valuable part of the college application process. Just as a student is expected to carefully prepare his application essay, so too should he prepare for an interview with an admission or alumni representative. At a select few colleges, the interview remains a critical component in the selection of students. Given the number of college representatives who visit The Hill each year, students often find themselves in ģinterview situationsī and they can capitalize on the opportunity by preparing in advance for their meetings with college admission officers.
