Now, Fernando is the most successful actor on Televisa. His Telenovela "La Usurpadora", with Gabriela Spanic was sold in 150 countries. His latest venture "Abrazame muy fuerte" was the most successful telenovela in 2000. It was called "the best" in 2000 by magazine "Tv y novelas".

But the private life of Fernando is not as successful. Till now he is single. Fernando lives with his parents, asserting, that he can't save money to buy his own house. Fernando sometimes says, that he wants to have the same happy marriage, as his parents have. But after the unsuccessful relationship with Thalia, Fernando couldn't settle in a serious relationship with another woman. Fernando's lifestyle is well-known. He keeps a healthy body by spending two hours each day in a gym. Fernando seriously engages in swimming and running. He has got two dogs - Max and Tiara. His hobby is to watch films of all genres at leisure.
