LaFayette Apple
Festival
Located just west of the village of LaFayette, NY, this event is housed in a
working apple orchard. Aong with a "giant" craft fair you will find a carnival
and various exhibits featuring apple products. All food is provided by
local civic organizations. The crafters are located in 8 - 9 large tents.
Attendance is usually over 100,000 for the two days, so parking can be a
problem (it has been improved over the past couple years).
The Apple Festival does provide parking in the orchard and various smaller
lots located nearby. This is a GREAT show but try to get there early.
Directions to the show. From Syracuse and North - take Rt. 81 south to Exit 15 (LaFayette) - go west on Rt. 20 and follow the signs.
From Binghamton/Cortland and South - Take Rt. 81 north to Exit 15 -
go west on Rt. 20 and follow the signs.
From Auburn and West - Take Rt. 20 east to the LAF and follow the
signs to the parking areas.
From Cazenovia and East - Take Rt. 20 west to the LAF and follow the
signs to the parking areas.
