Gosei Sentai (Five Sar Task Force) Dairanger


6000 years ago, a war broke out between the daibolical Goma clan and the rightgeous Dai clan. However, the great and powerful Daijinryu [Great God Dragon] threatened to destroy the Earth if there was no peace and quiet. The two faction were forced to stop their feud....until now. The Goma resumes their evil plans on present day Earth and it's up to Doshi [Master] Kaku to assmeble a band of warriors who will represent the Dai Clan-five young people with strong levels of ki [life] energy. The Dairanger team is formed to handle the Goma threat.

Ryu[Dragon]Ranger Ryo-Age 23

While working in a restuarant in Yokohama's Chinatown, Ryo's ambititon is to become the the best gyoza cook in Japan. Headstrong and fearlees, Ryo often charges into battle with pure intensity which inspires the team to fight just as hard. His martial techniques include the red dragon punch and red dragon twin dragon sword. Dragon ranger utilizes the elements of fire and lightning to perform his hissatsu waza [finishing technique]:Tenkasei Lightning Immolation Blast. When the battle escalates to a earth shattering level, he uses his Tenkasei [Heaven's Fire Star] orb to call upon his Kidenju [Spirit-Legend Beast]-the mighty Ryusei-Oh [Dragon Star King], which can henshin from dragon mode to humannoid mode.

*6000 years ago, he was born of a human woman and Choryo, one of the five Kidenju commanding warriors; Ryo discovers this later in the series.

Shishi[Lion]Ranger Daigo-Age 24

A young pet shop clerk, who loves life to the fullest and all forms of life. Daigo would go as far as to sacrifice himself in order to protect the innocent. Endowed with abilities to summon fog and create illusions, Lion ranger focuses these powers into his special technique: Tengensei [heaven's Illusion Star] Cloak of Fog. Daigo's Kidenju is the fearsome Seishishi [Star Lion], center of the chariot like Tenku-Kiden [Heavenly Spiritual Palace].

Tenma[Peagasus]Ranger Shoji-Age 19

Described as gentle and understnding, Shoji trains hard to become a future boxing champion. When he's not playing pachinko with Daigo or teasing Ryo, Shoji can be found chasing women. The fighting techniques at his disposal include the Tenma punch, Tenma high speed spinning kick and the Tenma nunchaku. Given incredible speed, he proves himself to be more than a match for any Goma foe.Shoji posses the Tenjusei [Heaven's Gravity Star] and thus, his special attack is the Gravity Wave Blast. Swift as the wind, Shoji pilots the Seitenma [Star pegasus].

Kirin[Chimera]Ranger Kazu-Age 20

Kazu works as a beautician and is a sharp dresser who drives a fancy sports car. When in battle, he uses the Kirin fist technique (similar looking to Drunken fist) and the deadly Kirirn nine jointed lash-a whip that consists of nine iron rods. Kazu uses his Ki-power to invoke the the Tenjisei Time Reversal, which can reverse time before a event has occured. His Kidenju is the Seikirin (Star Chimera).

Ho-Oh [Phoenix] Ranger-Age 19

Ling is a chinese exchange student studying in Japan, but also happens to be Master Kaku's niece. This is because of her heritage, Ling's Ki energy level is the strongest of all the rangers. Aided by the Tenjusei [Heaven's wind Star] orb, Phoenix Ranger's ultimate attack is the Tenfusei Straight line Whilrwind, which engulfs her foes in a freezing gust of wind. Her Kidenju is the majestic Seiho-oh [Star Phoenix].
