Mu Ye San Cai is the heroine of the show. She comes from a very poor family. Her parents wants her to find a rich guy to marry, so they made her attend Eitoku Gakuen, one of the most exclusive private schools in Taiwan. She is surrounded everyday by the richest of society's children. San Cai at first is quiet and unobtrusive. She simply tries to make her way through the school without causing any ripples. However after witnessing F4 bullying people one too many times, She snaps and went back to her naturally agressive attitude. In elementary school, middle school and high school, San Cai had no problems standing up for herself. However, since attending the university, her behavior had changed. Now she has reverted back to her strong self. San Cai is brave and is a good fighter. She stands up to Dao Ming Si and F4 despite her inner fears and nervousness. She refuses to take crap from anyone, no matter how rich they are. Not only is she good at protecting herself, she is also the protector of her friends. She is at the center of a tug of war between two members of F4, Dao Ming Si and Hua Ze Lei. Her feelings seem to sway towards Hua Ze Lei. However there is also some sort of feeling towards Dao Ming Si as well, even though they argue most of the time. She realised that Dao Ming Si is really the one she loves in the later part of the show.
~Qian Wei Shan~
Teng Tang Jing is the only heiress to a large corporation run by her father. Jing has long wavy brown hair and a very beautiful face. She is very talented and is famous all over the world. She has been spending her time in France. Jing grew up as a childhood playmate of F4. Despite the 2 year age gap between them, she befriended the boys and formed a close bond with all of them. However, she concentrates her attention most on the shy, introverted Hua Ze Lei. Jing's sweet and kind nature reached out to the lonely Lei and slowly drew him out of his shell. She and Lei became extremely close. Despite her fame and beauty, Jing is very down to earth and kind. She befriends San Cai and helps her recover from the daily hazings at school. Jing is so kind and is such a wonderful person that even San Cai finds herself admiring her, despite the fact that Jing is the one whom Lei seems to love. Jing isn't just a pretty face though. She also has dreams of her own that will take her out beyond her career and her life as a rich heiress.
~Edward Ou Ding Xing~
Chen Qing He is one of San Cai's childhood friends. They went to elementary school and middle school together. San Cai had acted as his defender in the past, protecting him from others who would pick on him. It seems that Qing He's family had owned a farm, but then recently sold off all the land for money and got rich quick. Now that Qing He and San Cai attend the same university, San Cai ends up taking that role as his protector once more. Qing He is physically weak in comparison to F4 and is a bit geeky as well. This, along with his status, as well as his friendship with San Cai make him the target of the school's abusing as well. Qing He also has a crush on San Cai. He is loyal to San Cai, always ready to stay by her side. However because of his puny size and strength, he tends to be bullied easily, and has been teased and bullied by F4 on several occasions. But his loyalty to San Cai will bring out the bravery in him, prompting him to stand up to F4 on San Cai's behalf, despite the fact they could beat him up anytime they wanted. Qing He has a terrible fashion sense. He dressed for one party in a ridiculous outfit(look kinda like Elvis lidat) and didn't seem to realize how dorky he looks. Qing He also arrives at school in a goofy car that is white with these brightly colored flowers on it.
~Yang Cheng Lin~
Xiao You is San Cai's friend from high school. They have been good friends for a long time and also work together at a cake shop. Xiao You goes to a different university, so she is not around to see San Cai's struggles with F4. However, Xiao You supports San Cai by listening to her problems and giving her advices. She fall in love with Xi Men towards the end of the show.
