Apollo 13

               It was journey for the modern Odysseus. It was the Fifth time U.S. astronauts had set out for the illusive moon.  But on April 13, 1970 there was an unusual explosion on there spacecraft.  The astronauts abandoned ship to their lunar module which only held two people.  In relation to this web site the lunar module for the Apollo 13 mission was called the odyssey  The light dimmed and the temperature dropped and they continued their journey.  The Apollo 13 mission was the modern odyssey for the new millennium.
