Technoferrets Tom, Boffin, glow wyrm and Dan_eee, are in the club. Dan_eee is president of the club, Tom is club vice-president, Boffin is club treasurer and glow wyrm is just a plain old member. [ well... not all that plain really :) ]

Of course there are heaps of other members, but I don't know who they are. Perhaps I should make a list of them. In fact, this year (1999) we have had a record number of new members sign up.

SUTTER CAIN stands for: Swinburne Union Techno Trance Electronica Rave Cosmic Acid Induced Neurosis.

We don't have any fixed location for events, however we do have preferred places for things:

• The Hawthorn campus Higher Ed. Courtyard. Just outside the cafeteria on the corner of John Street. We have held a few events here... Oblix vs. Midro DJ War, 3SSR DJ-a-thon during O-week (inc. Pound System from the U.K.), and a few other small parties.
• The park behind Swinburne High School (a.k.a. the "rocket park"). Last year we held a huge FREE party here (Translucent: In The Mouth Of Madness). Featuring such big names as Sugar(Green Ant), Cara Caama, Nirav and others. Unfourtunately Krusty(Green Ant) cancelled. Also there we heard the first public playing of the track "Trance-Lucent" by glow wyrm which was written especially for the party.
• Ethel Hall (Hawthorn Campus). We haven't actually used this venue yet, but plans are underway to hopefully hold a (free?) party here later in 1999.

SUTTER CAIN was formed because a few friends got together and decided that there were clubs and societies for just about everything, but there was nothing to cater for people with an interest in electronic music.

Usually whenever they are not sleeping, sometimes even when they are :)
