Feb 2, 03 INSTRUCTOR THERAPIST - BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT AUTISM PROGRAM - SIMCOE COUNTY

PERMANENT FULL TIME Competition Number: HR 128/02

Reporting To: Director, Behaviour Management Services

Hours of Work: Days 8 Hour Shifts (Although largely days, some evenings and weekend work may be required)

Date Required: As Soon As Possible

Qualifications: Must have a community college diploma in related field or equivalent. One or two years' early intensive behavioural intervention experience would be an asset. Candidate must have vehicle and be willing to travel throughout Simcoe County and York Region. This is a Simcoe County position with the main office located in Barrie. Candidates must be willing to participate in and successfully complete a comprehensive training program.

Primary Responsibilities: As an Instructor Therapist in intensive early behavioural intervention services for children with autism, you will be working with young children either one-on-one or in a group setting. You will be responsible for delivering direct service, preparing teaching materials, monitoring the children's progress, participating in treatment planning and liaising with parents.

Feb 2, 03 SENIOR THERAPIST - BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT AUTISM PROGRAM - SIMCOE COUNTY

PERMANENT FULL - TIME Competition Number: HR 117/02

Reporting To: Director, Behaviour Management Services

Hours of Work: Days 8 Hour Shifts (Although largely days, some evening and weekend work may be required)

Date Required: As Soon As Possible

Qualifications: Must have a Master's level degree in psychology or a related field plus three to five years' experience which includes one to three years direct clinical experience with Applied Behavioural Analysis with children. You must have proven skills in clinical and program supervision, assessment and direct service. Candidate must be licensed to drive in Ontario , have a vehicle and be willing to travel throughout York Region and Simcoe County. Primary Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the clinical supervision for the Instructor Therapists (direct service providers). You will also be responsible for conducting functional and behavioural assessments, participating in the treatment planning process, working with parents, designing and ensuring the delivery of program content plus the administrative function in support of service delivery.
