Background I chose this back ground to continue my family page in honor of the first person to be written about on this page. My brother David in honor of the work he does as a volunteer fireman. It takes a special person to put themselves in a situation where they risk their own lives to save others.
David has spent a lot of time learning how to protect himself. I know how much being a fireman means to him. Please take a look and the poems and fireman's prayer they are linked below. They may not be alot but it's my way of honoring our Firefighters. |

MY BROTHER David John my little brother was born June 17, 1970 and is 4 years younger than me. I guess that's why I've always been a little overprotective of him.
Dave has lived out many of his dreams even if that has ment finding out it wasn't what he thought it would be. Dave went to school to be a tractor trailer driver and has driven almost cross country. What he didn't like ? Being away from his family so he quit that job and is now working for the county Highway Dept. Because of his tractor trailer training his is able to drive the bigger equipment at his present job. Dave's other dream has been to be a firefighter. He's been a volunteer fireman since he was 16 years old. He currently sits on the board of directors at our local fire dept. I could never do what he does. Dave had searched thru many homes looking for people who may not have gotten out or he has gone into burning buildings to put the fire out. Dave never gives doing this a second thought. It takes a special person to put their life on the line for someone else. That's only one reason my brother is so special to me. |

Sara Louise & Zackary Guy Sara Louise is Dave's daughter. She was born on September 12, 2001.
Sara is such an amazing kid. She acts more grown up then most kids, is always polite and tells it like it is (even if she is only 4 1/2). Zackary Guy is Dave's son. He was born October 14, 2003. Right now Zack doesn't do a lot he likes to play with his sister, loves water and has quite the temper. Most of all Zack looks just like his daddy and acts like him is so many ways. |
