Wedding Showcase
The Slippery Rock University Union, the SRU Alumni Association and AVI FoodSystems, Inc. are pleased to announce the second annual Wedding Showcase event on Thursday, February 28, 2008, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tour banquet and reception facilities on campus in the Multi Purpose Room, North Hall and the newly remodeled Russell Wright Alumni House and Conference Center. The event will be held in the Slippery Rock University Union Multi-Purpose Room. More than 25 vendors will be on hand to provide information about their services for the bride-to-be. The showcase will include several giveaways, including the grand prize sponsored by the Apple Butter Inn: a one night stay at the Inn and dinner for two at North Country Brewery. SRU Night with the Orlando Magic
Join fellow ROCK alumni in the Orlando area for an evening of fun and professional basketball as the Orlando Magic take on the Indiana Pacers. Prices range from $20 - $40. Deadline to register is March 5, 2008. Tampa Alumni Reception

Five Guys Named Moe
A little bit of Broadway comes to Miller Auditorium in Slippery Rock. Tickets to the March 29 presentation of the Tony-Award winning musical "Five Guys Named Moe" are $20 for adults; $18 for senior citizens (62 and older) and those under age 18; and $8 for SRU students. The Wedding Singer
The movie has now been turned into a new musical. Join fellow alumni as we ROCK the eighties in Pittsburgh and have a rocking good time.
