Tea and Kitten

Nothing I would rather see
No place I would rather be
Than with my kitten on my knee
And a steaming cup of tea

Kitten curled up in a ball
On the couch against the wall
With the teacup full and tall
That's what I like best of all

Music playing soft and sweet
Fuzzy slippers on my feet
Cat on lap, tea for heat,
And maybe some sweet cake to eat

Kitten purring fast and long
Teakettle whistling its song
I know that I can't go wrong
With tea and kitten, where I belong
