Hawkins
Solar Flare

Jim with Morph...how cute. ^^

Rebellious. Determined. Dreamer. Jim Hawkins is all that and even more. But who is he anyway?

It all starts in the distant, long future. Who knows what might have happened to Earth? But now we are able to see a different persepective...where space can be traveled frequently. Creatures and aliens roam around the galaxy of all sorts. Even worlds have been created now. Such as the rocky planet known as Montressor.

James Pleiades Hawkins, or simply better known as Jim, lives upon it...just dreaming to escape to another life. Montressor is boring. There's no real adventures like perhaps any young person wishes upon. His Mom owns the Benbow, an Inn that helps travelers of all sorts. Unfortuantly the 15-year-old is a troublemaker and decides to lead a future-less life of failing in school and getting busted in dangerous situations with the cops on his solar surfer.

We know Jim is a bright human being. According to his Mother, he built his first solar surfer when he was nine! (How many kids can say they've done that?!) Yet he still is unsuccessful in school. Even the cops getting on his case says that if he gets caught again with his solar board one more time, Jim will end up in juvenile hall.

But there's more to him than this though. Nobody can just see it and what, yet. Jim just hides from the world. Wrapped around his thin body is a dark coat that seems more like security than a fashion statement. His clothes are hanging off of his body, and his hair is constantly brushed against his eyes. The boy seems to have trouble communicating with others. Friends don't come easy for him since the world misunderstands him. According to 'Jim's Journal,' he claims the crew is 'better than hanging out with the kids at school.' Could this mean that he was an outcast? Being his age, Jim would be in high school, which is pretty rough all together with grades and popularity.

To the 15-year-old...he is a faliure that screws up constantly. He can't please his Mom...and even before how this all started, with his troubles, his feeling of being unsuccessful all started with someone in the past. But luckily, it takes maybe just one adventure...and an old cyborg for Jim to realize that he has everything he wanted to become inside himself...and beyond.

After Jim aboards the RLS Legacy, with the map to Treasure Planet, (a loot of a thousand worlds!) he's accompanied by various characters. The oddball Doctor Delbert Doppler whose an old friend with the Hawkins family, the firey Captain Amelia, and of course the cook, Long John Silver and his shape-shifter pet Morph.

Soon Jim finally gets his dream of finally having an adventure. But along the process he must discover friendship, betrayal, trust, and belief that anything is possible.
