Activities and Service Projects

Our projects for the 2010-2011 club year included supporting the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg, and the Mammogram Fund at Pinnacle Health.
Scholarships and awards continue to be offered through the Violet Richardson Award, the Women's Opportunity Award and the Harrisburg Area Community College Scholarship. The Margaret I. Weaver Scholarship, was first offered in Spring 2003, provides a female graduate of a local High School continuing her studies in the fields of Math or Science.
Hands on volunteer projects included making breakfasts at the local Ronald McDonald House, the Breast Cancer Walk, the American Cancer Society Daffodil days and Caitlyn's Smiles.
