To accomplish our mission to use our time, talents and resources to advance the status of women and children, the Harrisburg Club raises funds to meet identified needs. Locally we have used our funds to purchase a room for the Central Pennsylvania Hospice residence; support our scholarship and awards programs; provide a fund at WomanCare/PinnacleHealth for free mammograms; as well as provide funds for several literacy efforts in the Greater Harrisburg area.
During the 2006-2007 Club year, we will raise funds through the following programs:
| Cent$able Closet This sale will take place at the Paxtonia Fire Hall on Friday and Saturday, October 20 and 21, 2006. Come early to check out the Celebrity Closet donations. |
| Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon. Fashions will be courtesy of "The Shoppes of Susquehanna Marketplace". March 24, 2007 at the Holiday Inn East on Lindle Road, Harrisburg PA. Social Hour will begin at 11:30 a.m.; Luncheon willbe served at 12:30 p.m.. |
