It is with a sad heart that
I write to tell you that tonight we helped Tyler's Rambo (AKA Goober) to the
bridge. In the last year both his mind and his body had failed him. He went
quietly and gently in my arms.
He came to me as a 10 month old orphan, full of all the piss and vinegar of any
Dane puppy. He grew into an amazing ambassador for orphaned Danes. He helped
train countless other orphaned Danes to become the loving and goofy companions
we all love.
Just a few weeks before his passing, he told me through the aid of a
communicator how important "his rescue work" was to him. He was proud of the
work he did and knew that countless other Danes had found homes because he was
always a gentleman when he worked.
Join with me in celebrating the life of my wonderful companion. He lived 12 1/2
wonderful years with me and I will miss him forever. Kathie |
