This is a story about Baby Trouble Bear and how she got her pet Lilly. It all started at Baby Troubles first Teddy Bears Picnic. You know we hold one every year at sun Valley.
“Come on Baby Trouble,” called game bear. Why did I volunteer to watch Baby Trouble! “Come on or we’ll be late for the start of the base ball game.”
“But me wan'ta see DA unicorns,” wined Baby Trouble as Game Bear picks her up and carriers her down from the watch tower.
By the time they reached the ball field there where only three bears left to be picked for teams. “I’ll take Game Bear,” said Joy Bear as Baby trouble and Game Bear walked on The game field.
“No fair,” cries Hope Bear, “I want Game Bear.” You see Game Bear is the best Ball Player in South Patch.
“But it’s my turn to pick,” said Joy Bear, “and I pick Game Bear!”
“OK, OK,” says Hope Bear , “Then I’ll Take Stormy Bear.”
“It’s about time some one picked me,” grumbled Stormy Bear.
“That Leave Twinkle Bear for me,” says Joy Bear.
Now the game was going great when it came Game Bears turn to bat. Game Bear asked Twinkle, “Can you keep an eye on Baby Trouble for me while I am at bat.”
“OK,” said Twinkle Bear looking at the sunny sky and still wondering why she could not see any stars.
“Can me go see DA unicorns,” Baby trouble asked Twinkle Bear
“Sure,” said Twinkle not really hearing what Baby Trouble had said, but she had decided that it must be the clouds keeping her from seeing the stars.
As Game Bear steps up to bat all the bears watching began to cheer, For the bases where loaded and Joy Bears team was just two runs Behind. There was a loud crack as the Ball went flying beyond the watch tower. Game Bear had hit a home run.
Baby trouble reached the watch tower and saw there where no big bears around to help her. She knew better then to go up the tower by herself so she sat on the bottom step and waited for a bear to come and help her.
“What do we have here,” said a beautiful lady all dressed in Green with long golden hair. “It’s a little baby bear, said the lady.
“Are you a people,” asked Baby Trouble. Now Baby Trouble Bear had never seen a People before but had heard the other bears talking about them.
“Yes I am,” said the lady, “can I help you?”
“YES!!” exclaimed Baby Trouble Bear, “me want to see DA unicorns. But me can’t go up a lone. It’s DA rules.”
“Yes we could go to the top of the tower to see the unicorns,” said the lady, “OR I could take you to where the unicorns are at. You see the unicorns are my friends.”
“OH BOY!!!!!!!” Baby trouble began to jump with joy, “let’s go!”
“Now hiding under the tower was a little skunk. This skunk knew this lady she was The wizards sister Kaaren. Kaaren was an evil witch that wanted to turn all the bears evil, so the skunk knew that Kaaren was up to no good. The skunk leaps out from under the tower and began to growl at Kaaren.
“Oh boy,” Exclaims Baby Trouble, “A Lill’ Kitty-cat”
Kaaren began to mumble a chant when The Skunk’s tail rose and she sprays the Kaaren.
As Game Bear slides in to home she does not see Baby Trouble bear any where, and asks, “Twinkle where is Baby Trouble Bear?”
“Who?” said Twinkle Bear.
“Baby Trouble,” Growled Game Bear, “I asked you to keep an eye on her, Remember.”
“Oh Yah, She went to see the unicorns,” said Twinkle Bear. “With who,” asked Game Bear, “You didn’t let her go by herself DID you?!”
“Well I think so,” Said Twinkle Bear.
“Look,” calls a bear from the crowd, “The witch is by the watch tower.”
“Oh my gosh,” exclaimed Game Bear, “That’s where Baby trouble will be!” And took off running for the tower. All the other bears followed after her.
“Why you little stinker,” screamed Kaaren the evil witch, at the little skunk, and took off running back to here house in the haunted woods for a good bath.
Baby trouble reached out a hand and petted the skunk from head to tail. “Me will take you home. You are me Kitty-cat. Me call you Lilly.”
Now Lilly the skunk had never been petted before, but she knew that she liked what Baby Trouble was doing and though to herself , “This baby will need a lot of looking after and I am the skunk to do it.”
“Are you all right,” said Game Bear scooping Baby Trouble up in here arms.
“Look a skunk,” says a bear, “Go no get away.”
Lilly knew this all to well. No one wants a skunk hanging around, so she starts to walk away.
“Me Kitty-cat.” Cries baby Trouble Bear, “Lilly is me new pet.” she said pointing to the skunk.
“With a pet like that the witch will never try to Take a baby bear again” said Hope Bear.
“I think we all had enough fun today,” said Joy Bear, “It’s time to go home.” She then turns to the Skunk and says, “are you coming Lilly”
Lilly begins to smile and fallow them back to South Fork where she lives to this day watching over all the baby bears.
