I have kept all my school reports from all my schools, and
for most people they are a very important aspect of school life, but just how acurate are they .
I'm sure i have been mistaken for someone else
many times(most likely Forest Gump by the look of the report below),and do we realise the effect a poor report can have on
a pupil?
When i first read this final school report, i had to double
check it was my name on the top.
I should imagine it was supposed to be a wake up call, to stop
enjoying myself so much and start taking school life a bit more seriously... in the end it has no effect on me whatsoever
but it could have had the reverse effect and i could have given up all together.
Following my exams and after receiving the results, Mr Madders(engineering
teacher) told me all the teachers were amazed how well i had done, considering i had done no work during my final
year(i was too busy having fun).
Unfortunately i was offered 3 jobs by local engineering firms(
i really wanted to stay on in the 6th form, and i should have), and decided to start work for Ingersoll Rand( a big mistake..5yrs
of hell..and i appologise to all the lads in the yrs below me that i encouraged to apply), fortunately, Thatchers destruction
of the uk's engineering industry saved me from further torture in the early 80's.
What was your worst report, and how did it affect you? let us know!!
