I'm doing some research into Wythenshawe and discovered your
web site. It's fascinating please keep it up.
If you have any memories of Wythenshawe in the 1950s and 60s especially
of the farms in the area (that were left) like the Shentons and you have time I would love to hear them.

Christine Davies is looking for June Conroy(1962-1967)

My name at School was Christine Davies. I was in 1G to 5G from 1962 to 1968.
June was one of my best friends at school. She lived off Garth Road at the side of the school. She lived near
Dave McManus. The last I heard of her was that she was going to change her name to Nicky Conroy and move down to Newquay.
I think her sister and brother still live in Wythenshawe somewhere.

David Jones (1974-1979)
David lived on Shannon road, and was an avid man utd fan (that was his only fault), i'm sure i saw
him on a tv programme in the 80's, where people with new ideas went on the programme to compete for backing. He may have moved
to north Manchester (where he was originally from).Anyone with any information please contact the site.

Can anybody give me information on the whereabouts of Anthony Middleton?.
He was at South Wythenshawe/Manchester schools up to 1982, He lived on Croftlands
Road for a while before moving to Brightman Street in Gorton (late 70's). Rumoured to be a Manager for a petrol station??
