Pupils from the past four decades should recognise at least one face in this unique photo , even former pupils of Moss Nook may be able to pick out one teacher in particular.

I can name four teachers that were present during my time in the mid 70's ,
Mr Parry ( i think he was vice Head Teacher at South Wythenshawe High School (lower school) when i began school in 1972), he took my class for one Math lesson as a stand in teacher.

Miss Roberts (m Gee), taught french in both upper and lower schools , Miss Stocks , taught english in the lower school , and finally Mr Harpe , who , during my five years in school took my form once as a stand in teacher , during which we played chess.

I'm sure this photo will be far more relevant to pupils from the mid 80's onwards , please write in with your own personal recollections.

Many thanks to Phil Taylor (Head Teacher 1989-1999) who persevered through initial technical difficulties to send this photo to the site.
