"Reminiscent Sampler"
      Genetic Music Germany has released their 3xLP Box set "Reminiscent." It contains a live previously unreleased rehearsal track from a Mark Lane performance in San Francisco (opening for Public Image Ltd.) from the early 1980's titled "America's List." The release includes works by other minimal electronic bands such as Absolute Body Control, The Actor, Gilded Youth, Science Patrol, DZ Lectric, and many more. All proceeds are going to benifit a dog shelter. http://www.geneticmusic.de.

"Creepy a la Weepy"
      After several delays MetaWave Classix Germany is finally preparing to release the new and long awaited Mark Lane minimal-electro CDLP "Creepy a la Weepy." The CD contains 7 new original gems and a synthpop remake of the Gary Numan classic "Praying to the Aliens." The release also features some visually stunning cover art by Mark Lane. "Who's Really Listening?+"
      MetaWave Classix has rereleased the 1984 Mark Lane mini-LP "Who's Really Listening?" in a CD package that includes the 5 original tracks, seven bonus tracks, and a deluxe booklet package. "Sojourn" Website
      The "Sojourn" website is up again with a collection of rare sound files, photographs, and the lyrics to Mark Lane songs. Carine Saville would like to thank all the contibutors that made this auxillary site possible. The above live photo was sent in by Michael Mair from a performance in Frankfurt in 1986. Also pictured are Nathan Rudolf playing bass (Male Nymph and Calvalcade Asp projects) and playing keyboards Andy Sazva Kovats (Data Bank A).
