<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->MPC Eligibility
was discussed and clarification of rules for this year will go into affect immediately and new rules for 2015-2016 will go
into affect beginning this April when new points totals begin tallying for all eligible club members.
Rules that were clarified for this year:
<!--[if !supportLists]-->1- <!--[endif]-->Age 50-69 will be eligible
for the Senior Flight Champion
<!--[if !supportLists]-->2- <!--[endif]-->Age 70 years and above
will be the eligible age for Super Senior Flight Champion
<!--[if !supportLists]-->3- <!--[endif]-->The top16 point qualifiers
in each Flight will automatically be eligible to participate in the Match Play Championship.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->4- <!--[endif]-->Those top 16 point qualifiers
must play in their flight based on their age. Qualifying Members cannot volunteer to play in another flight.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->5- <!--[endif]-->If one or more of the
top 16 point qualifiers cannot participate in the MPC Tournament their place will be filled by the next highest point qualifier
from the list of alternates in that flight. If all alternates in the Senior flight are exhausted alternates can be pulled
from the Super Senior Flight alternate list only to fill those spots. The process to fill a spot in the Senior Flight with
a Super Senior will follow the same process based on point totals.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->MPC Eligibility
for the 2015-2016 Season
1- Due to the growing
age of the club and its members we have a higher amount
of members that fall under the Super Seniors Flight than Seniors Flight, based
on the 70 year age cutoff.
Due
to this, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to field a flight for each
age
group. As a result beginning in April of 2015 (when new point totals begin
to
accrue for the upcoming MPC) the age of Super Senior and
Senior
Flights will change based on the median age of the top 32 point
qualifiers.
2- the top 32 point qualifiers ages will be
averaged and the median age will be
the age at which the
division is split. So for example if the top 32 point
qualifiers average age is
73, 50-72 will be the Senior Flight and 73 and above
will be the Super
Senior Flight.
3- Alternate lists will then be based on the
new age limits.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Bulletin
for Los Amigos Tournament needs to be sent out as soon as possible.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->1- <!--[endif]-->Remind members to keep
up with the pace of play of the group in front of you. Remind members before the tournament to play ready golf, 5-minute rule
looking for lost ball, stay safe.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->2- <!--[endif]-->Remind members to be at
their carts by 7:45 a.m.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Bulletin
For February Tournament needs to be emailed within two days of Los Amigos conclusion. Skylinks $45 including lunch.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Discussion
on changing website to the pay version so we can get rid of pop-up ads and have more space to put pictures on the website.
Also put a memorial page and a history of tournament results page as well.
Meeting adjourned at 10:35
