Herman was the fifth child born to Washington and Beatrice Stevens. He was born in Surrency, GA of Appling County. He lived in Georgia and Connecticut in his early years before settling with his wife, Martha in Delray, FL. After her death he became more involved in community activities and expanded his business ventures by purchasing real estate. He became the proprietor of guest houses and apartments. Herman is a self made man of determination, ambition, initiative, and courage. Herman has traveled extensively throughout America and around the world. His vigor and enthusiasm has earned him the name "BIG TIME HERMAN STEVENS." The descendants of Herman Stevens are Herman Stevens Jr., Mary Stevens, and Carolyn Stevens.
