The Future of genetically modified soybeans is a difficult one to predict although there are many signs that indicate genetically modified soybeans are,in the long run, much safer for the environment and for human beings. One of the greatest difficulties to overcome is the fact there are a lot of people in the world who do not trust the biotechnology that has created these genetically enhanced soybeans. These people also fear complications they feel may result from ingesting these new soybeans. Much of this fear is due to a lack of public knowledge about what actually goes on inside the buildings where these new genetically altered soybeans are being produced. Still, the public has to feel safe concerning new technologies that affect it before these technologies will be acceptable. The lack of public assurance at this point is why the future of genetically modified soybeans and other foods is a difficult one to predict. |
