Preheat oven to 400º F. 2. Cut acorn sqush in half length-wise and scoop out seeds and fibers. Place squash in a baking pan, cut side down, and add 1/2 inch of water to the pan. Bake for 20 minutes. 3. Meanwhile, saute ground beef in a skillet until browned, then drain off excess fat. Add butter, onion, apple, cabbage, and sunflower seeds and cook until vegetables are tener. Add seasonings and mix well. 4. Turn squash halves cut side uo and fill centers with cabbage mixture.
