Chapter four
By Katie
Casey took one last look at her room and sighed, knowing full
well this would be the last time that she saw her dark little
room in California. Moving to Florida, she'd have a bright happy
room no doubt.
She groaned inwardly "Who the hell wants a bright
room?"
"CASEY!! Let's go!" Her mom yelled from downstairs.
Casey rolled her eyes and trudged down the stairs. "You know
Mom, I was coming, you don't have to get your panties all in a
bunch."
"Casey! Stop that right now. If you talk like that at the
Carter's house, I don't know what I'll do with you."
"Whatever mom. Can we go now?" She asked and they
walked out the door.
At the airport...
"Goodbye Casey. Have fun." Casey laughed as if that was
the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard of.
"Seriously Case, I'm not kidding. You go out there and act
like that sweet girl that I know you are. I know you don't want
to do this but make the best out of it please? The sooner I
believe you have changed, the sooner you can come home."
Casey clapped her hands "And when I come home, can we have a
tea party too?" She asked sarcastically and her mom sighed
in frustration.
"Just don't be too much of a bitch Case."
"I'll try mom, but I'm not making any promises." She
left her mom and walked onto the plane. As soon as she sat down
she took out her walkman. Blasting Eminem from the headphones,
she laid back and relaxed.
**Flashback**
"Hey Nick! How's the tour going?" an 11 year old Casey
asked Nick on the phone.
"Fine, you wouldn't believe how much they love us over here
Casey. It's so cool. And Europe is so cool too."
"So you're going to forget all about me?"
"No Case, I could never forget about you. How could you ever
think that."
"Because you'll become famous and never even think of me
again." Casey cried into the phone.
"I promise Case, we'll always be friends and no matter how
famous I get, we'll keep in touch. Plus, when I get home I'll see
you."
"No you won't Nick, my mom and I are moving to California
next week. Mom says Florida brings back too many memories of her
and daddy. I'll never see you again."
"Of course you will. I'll come visit you I promise."
Nick answered.

"Ladies and Gentleman, we are now arriving in Florida.
Please buckle your seat belts and fold your tray tables up. Thank
you for flying American Airlines." Casey sighed.
The plane landed and Casey stood up, walking towards her new
life.
