The T-1000: A prefect villain An essay by Julia Smith A fictional character is something made up. The T-1000 is from a movie, Terminator 2, so he is a fictional character; the villain. He is the prefect villain. He is fast, agile, quick, strong, and ruthless. He comes from the future with one mission, to destroy the human who leads us in the war against the machines in the future. He is a machine, made of liquid. He is sent to destroy this man while he is still a child. The T-1000 is a terminator, a cybrog. He has a target and goes after it at all cost. Even if he is cut in half, he is still on the target's case. He was built by a company called "Cyberdyne", by machines, as a machine. He is more advanced than the first one. He is ruthless, kills those who are in the way of his mission. He feels no pity, no fear. In fact, he doesn't even have feelings. The reason he needs to achieve this mission (in the movie) is because he can give victory on his side in the future war. He is made up of "a mimetic poly-alloy", liquid metal, is a mimicing substance. This allows him to mimic anything he has physical contact with. He has many abilities. He can form solid metal shapes (like a sword). He can morph into a person by someone just stepping on it. He can melt into the floors. He can mimic clothing. He can sample things he touches at a "fantastic level." He can form other body parts for task. An example is he formed two more arms to fly the helicopter, and lock and load, and shoot his gun. But he does have limits. He can't become small objects, only an object of equal size. He cannot become a machine(ex: a car), or something with chemicals. These facts about his abilities though, make him seem unstoppable. The T-1000 does have a weakness like everyone else. If he is frozen by liquid nitrogen, shattered, say by someone hitting him with a baseball bat, then melts, and reforms, he cannot control on his ability to morph. He has contact with an object, he becomes part of it. But even this does not stop him. It only slows him down. His feet fuses to the floor, but he can still walk, so comes after you. His hand fuses to a metal object, but he can get his hand back and move on. He does not stop until his mission is complete. The sad fact is, this ends up to his death. He dies by falling into a molten pit. This "liquid metal dude," is a fictional character, not real. The T-1000 is the prefect villain, nothing stops him, he is death. But he can be used for good. It depends on whose hands he's in. It's like a gun. A gun is neither good nor evil, it depends on whose hands it is in.
