Lil Kim was born in Brookly. She lived gehtto-comfortable with her mom and dad until she was 9. At that age her parents split up and she moved
in with her father. She recalls "things started getting bad and he kicked her out of the house. Kim lived with friends and turned to the streets for sustenance.
Kim has always loved music, though, and when the Notourious BIG found out that she could rhyme he helped put her on.
Kim introuduced herself to the world on the Junior M.A.F.I.A. single "Player's Aanthem" ans was also featured on the group's follow-up "Get Money." With pinches
of inner-city street ego slipping from her crimson-hued lips and lots of sexually-spiced subject matter(hot as a gushing volcano), Kim refuses to be restricted
by the repressed minds who judge her style. Kim has fashioned "HARD CORE" as an exotic black-light soundtrack that busts through the barriers of uncut funk and
censored language. You can find kim hangin with her homies or dropping phat lines, Lil'Kim is ushering in a new style for female wild childs to follow.
Kim say's "I'm gonna keep doin' what I'm doin' cuz it's workin".
Kim's album called HARD CORE has sored through great heights. However I am such a huge fan I cannot wait until she drops her next debut album.
Eventhough her album is quite old, I still be bumpin it cause it's jammin. Lil Kim's "Crush On You" was the most requested played clip at MTV. "Crush
On You," is the best single form her debut album called HARD CORE. This album of her's dropped on November 12th 1996. However, it started getting much airplay
around March of 97. Her other track that was real tight was on Biggie's LIFE AFTER DEATH album. This woman has inspired me to follow what I believe in despite
what people may think about you. Kim makes it seem like you have to live your life the way that best possibly suits you. Cause if you went by everything
that people thought you would not be an individual in yourself. Also you need to live your life, cause life is too short!!!!
