Tadrith Dragons

The dragons of Tadrith are very similar to Earth dragons. When bonded with a human, they are given physical and mental connections to one another. Bonding has also strengthened the Tadrith's fighting abilities. If one is hurt the other feels the pain, and they have the ability to communicate telepathically with their bondee (a few humans are lucky enough to have the ability to communicate with unbonded dragons, however this cannot be done if they are more than approx. a mile apart). The human becomes the rider and trains the dragon. Once they are ready they will help to fight nightmares (read more about this in Brief History of Tadrith).
NOTE: Most Tadriths cannot speak English except to their bondee
Colors:
ALL THE COLORS ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO BOND BECAUSE OF ALL THE CANDIDATES WE RECEIVE AND THE SMALL SIZE OF MOST CLUTCHES.
Red(female) and Black(male)- These colors have the highest ranking and are bonded only to amazing candidates that show mental and/or physical strength. Blue eyes. Personality: Fierce and wild except to bondees. They are the rarest (besides mutations) in clutches and the hardest to bond.
Green(male) and Blue(female)- Greens and Blues hold the second place ranking and are not quite as strong physically as the Reds and Blacks. Red eyes. Personality: Calm and relaxed, usually shy. They are fairly common in clutches and are difficult to bond.
Orange(male or female)- Oranges are the most common, but any dragon is difficult to bond. Green eyes. Personality: Hyper and friendly, very cooperative. They have about equal physical strength as Greens/Blues and slightly less mental strength. Hard to bond, but the easiest compared to the other colors.
Known Mutations/Rarities
THESE COLORS ARE THE MOST DIFFICULT OF ALL TO ADOPT. THERE IS ONE MUTATION IN EVERY 5 CLUTCHES (AVERAGE), AND THEREFORE THEY ARE EXTREMELY RARE.
Albino(male/female)- Pure white dragons with completely red eyes. Personality: Similar to Greens/Blues except usually friendly and not shy.
Violet(female/male)- Deep purple sometimes with undefined sky and ocean blue markings or sometimes undefined pink markings. Eyes are ice-blue. Personality: Calm and intelligent.
Rainbow(?)- Rainbow Tadriths are sometimes thought of as a legend, and no information is currently available on them. Some Tadrith scientists doubt their existence, so they may not even be real, but they are according to ancient scripts. They have not been seen for many generations. Eye color: Unknown. Personality: Unknown, may vary.
