RE: TAMPRO'S EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

The above heading refers.

Enclosed, please find a copy of proposed TAMPRO Empowerment Program document.

Background of our Activities:

Since our inception, we have engage ourselves much on education, from the level of nursery to university, as well as writing-up and co-ordinate various projects, ranging from educational to commercial. We have also been providing legal and other professional assistance (consultancy) to other groups and individuals as well as conducting seminars on various topics of current importance. Our members/resource persons have been travelling all over the country to reach people in need of our services. However, as the demand for our services countrywide grows daily, our resources to sustain them are still very limited.

In this regard, we are taking this opportunity to present for your consideration and support, the TAMPRO EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM.

The Program has three major components namely:

  1. Capacity building
  2. Pre-Primary School Teachers Training Course, and
  3. Information and Communication strategy.

The total cost of the Programme is US$ 1,746,300. However, each of the three programme components above, can be supported separately. Hence, you may choose any component if not all, to support us. You may also, pass the rest over to other interested donors. TAMPRO will contribute in terms of participation and expertise from its members. The cost that TAMPRO used to prepare this fund rising document was US$ 3,500, which has already been covered as our initial contribution.

Despite the shortage of resources as narrated above, we still have a tight programme for social development in our country. If supported, this program will put our strength up, to reach our desired objectives.

Thanking you in advance for showing interest in supporting our programme.

Yours Sincerely

Br. M.K. Mziya
