Appearance:

Lacronians while humanoid in basis are in fact very different, the main one upon sight is the long points ears that vary in length, most of them reaching near the top of their skulls with most slightly slicked back. The emotion a Lacronian is feeling is easy to tell thanks to spines on their back and forearms that respond to the mood, those talented in deceit (which few are) can actually control their spines, giving false emotions. Upon sight or visiting a Lacronian ship other species will most likely believe there are no male Lacronians and all are female, but upon visiting their home world and the planets in the same system they would find that Lacronian males do indeed exist. Internally Lacronians couldn’t be more different then humans, what they call their spirit is a mass of tissue that takes up their chest which seems to keep them alive much like our lungs, liver, heart and such.

Society:

This Elf-like race is spiritual, almost as if it was a job as they spend a certain amount of hours in temple or prayer each week. Now their lives outside of this do exist, most women caring deeply about their husband and his children, even if they aren’t her’s. Now let me verify something here, Lacronian males do exist as stated above but they are rare, there is like 1 male for every 20 females, yet by law he is only allowed 12 wives, with the other 8 women living without husband but still able to have a male’s children. Now the reason these males are never seen off planet is that the first Lunar Queen decreed space travel was to dangerous for a male unless the planet was close by.

Now they are mostly a peaceful race, having only a few true wars in their history and having rules stating all visiting species must deactivate all weapons and remove firing control for them. The few violations of this rule have resulted in the offender’s ship being forcibly disabled. As long as we are on laws I will tell this now the greatest crime to a Lacronian is to kill a male, if done by a female she is killed instantly, if a male he replaces the male he killed. Now for their greeting (I am jumping around), it is basically the woman giving her name and then the name of her father, example: "I am Falrin, Daughter of Joluv”.

History:

This Elf like race evolved from cats, whose bodies were covered in spines for protection from the other predators on the planet. From there on they slowly became humanoid as they outsmarted the other species and evolved to the world around them. Now once they became the Lacronian image we know today they was peaceful, eating mostly berries and such and only killing animals in self-protection and eating little of the meat. Then as they started developing technology and slowly the planet, without war, became one society through their religions. Instead of developing technology that would ruin the planet their gods had given them they developed helpful technology that wouldn’t damage the eco system and ozone.

Then through that they slowly gained a great knowledge of magnetic fields, gravity and sensors. There first trip into space resulted in a great boost to traveling and soon they had terra formed and colonized the other planets in the system before developing their Gravity engines which began colonization of other systems. It took them three different trips to three different systems to find their first alien society who could travel the stars. They welcomed them with open arms until one of the ‘aliens’ killed a male, and then war started. During the 50 years long war the Lacronians focused their research on weapons, eventually developing the MACs and Plasma Cannons, which when put against the enemy’s ships made easy work of them. No one knows if the enemy was planning on surrendering after the introduction of the Lacronians weapons cause the Holy Queen of that time ordered a task-force to infiltrate and destroy the other’s home world. Cause of this act the species was spread to the winds and wasn’t seen from again.

For a few centuries the Lacronians had peace, a new generation coming along and being put in Fleets. And then Civil War broke out with the defection of near to 300 ships from various fleets, including two ‘Princesses’. In response to this the Lunar Queen ordered the remaining 11 Princesses to collect all their ships into their Armadas to assault the rebels. Within a week they had found the renegade Lacronians and within hours of finding them destroyed every ship of the rebels.

From then on they had very little true ‘wars’ since most alien ships entering their space are ordered and made to obey their laws in their space. Those who don’t obey the laws get blown to bits and then the data reviewed by most.
