The StoryBook Rules
As of July 9th, 1999

If you want your character posted you must read these rules carefully because if they are not followed, I will NOT set up a page for your character. I will not email you back saying that I didn't post it, I just won't put it up in my next update. The file, though, will remain on the hard drive, but there will be no link to it until the missing fields are filled in. I will not take down the pages posted today or before that, but please read carefully. This may seem harsh, but everybody who comes here is looking for inspiration or reading the pages of the book and want to read about someone who is realistic. And if the facts that I say are manditory are missing, then that says that the person/character is not realistic.

These points/facts are allowed to be missing because everybody may not have these certain points. Like in some stories, the character that is posted may not be a ranger so that eliminates the whole "PR Information" part of their bio right?

Mandatory

Full Name
- Everybody has a name right?
Age
- If you don't know the age or want to mention it, just put what age he/she looks like or their approximate age.
Birthdate
- Again, if you don't want to put what it is or if you don't know what it is, then just fill it in with a century or something (eg; birthdate: 19th century).
Birthplace
- Everybody has a birthplace wether its in space, on a planet or in a lab. This one is a biggie and if you don't know, just put the galaxy or something!
Origin
- Everybody has an origin. If it's not known put a reason why if not then you have to put what it is.
Siblings
- Not everybody has siblings, and some have siblings that are dead. If they are dead the say their dead.
Other Family
- Same as the siblings. You have to put something. I'll only allow the answer unknown if the character has amneisa or if they are presumed dead.
Hair
- This is a doozey. If the character has no hair, then put none, but if they do (which is most likely) put the color.
Eyes
- Everyone has eyes! And most eyes have color, you have to fill this in!
Height
- The only way that height is going to qualify as unknown is if they're a spirit that never materializes. Other wise, its gonna be filled in.
Hobbies
- Unless your character does nothing but stay in a hyperlock chamber until it's time for action, the character has a hobby.
Good Points
- Now everybody nailed this one because they know everyone that is human has a few good points right?
Bad Points
- This is one that was missing quite a few times. If they are realistic, they need at least one bad point because if they were absolutely perfect, people would be puking in the streets.
Weaknesses
- Again, missing quite a few times. It has the same reason to be filled in as the bad points.
Stregnths
- Everybody's good at something.
Biography
- If we're going to learn about your character, we're going to need to know a little bit about their life.
Favorite Color
- Everybody's got one.
Least Favorite Color
- See above.
Favorite Food
- Unless they don't eat, they got one.
Least Favorite Food
- See above.
First Appearance
- If the reader likes your character, they would want to know which one they appear in.
Creator
- If you don't claim it, they will.
Email
- If you want fan mail, you're gonna have to have it up for them.

IF ANY OF THESE ARE MISSING, YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR CHARACTER IN THE STORYBOOK UNTIL IT IS GIVEN!
