Here we go again. :)
Now that we've done IX, it's LaF's turn. Here is the list:

THIS IS TOO LONG, WHY SHOULD I READ IT?
Don't, if you don't want to. Just check for the section titles and read what you care about. Check the end for a recap on exactly what I'm looking for without using too many words to hurt your poor aching head. ;)

HOW DID I COME UP WITH THIS LIST?

I took the initial list from the first The Rank Project thread, and took everyones suggestions and formed a new list from everyone's opinions.

Fortunately, the list wasn't ambiguous enough to where I needed to make personal decisions between "tied" alliances to determine who'd be on the list or not. In cases where one alliance had three votes for it, and one against it, and another had two votes for it, and none against it, I chose the one with no votes against it.

WHAT NEXT?

Now that Part I is done (selecting which alliances are top 20), here is Part II.

In this phase of The Rank Project, I ask that you all leave suggestions on what alliances FROM THE ABOVE LIST should generally be ranked BELOW the alliance currently being evaluated (today, LaF) on any top 20 list. Do not mention if you think someone is tied with LaF, or above LaF. Only say who you think should be below them. Name as many alliances as you want, from the list.

WHY ASK WHO IS BELOW ANOTHER ALLIANCE?

I'm hoping that by asking who would be BELOW LaF, rather than above LaF, this will avoid extraneous arguments about who is better, when all we really care about right now is who is generally agreed to be ranked in a certain relation to LaF.

WHY NOT JUST LOOK AT OTHER RANKINGS AND COMPARE?

The reason why I don't ask for everyone's own ranking of alliances is because that will be too difficult to fairly determine where most people put which alliances. With the method I am using, hopefully certain biases will be avoided and it will be more apparent that most people put alliance XXX below LaF, rather than most people ranked XXX about 7 or 8 where LaF was ranked between 3-5, along with many other alliances.

SO, WHAT WAS IT I SHOULD DO NOW?

1) Look at the list in the first post.
2) Think about LaF.
3) Think what alliances belong BELOW (not tied with) LaF.
4) Post here what you came up with.

5) Also tell me your thoughts on why you think LaF is good/bad.

LaF posses loads of knowledge and skill regarding the game, and I'm not only talking about strategies and formulas here. In LaF you find THE strategy-builders, good leadership, overall high quality and curiosity to explore and learn. LaF is a great place to have fun in, we care for each other, living up to the concept of LaFamiglia where every member is important. Toss out an idea and it will bounce back in brand new clothing. LaF:fers can netgain too. LaF is myth, power, tradition and development under the same roof.

Hmmz... too hard to do.
The new LaF is unknown to me, but the old LaF fitted Leo Arietis' comments.
But its my belief that too many of its old vets has gone away to keep the same "best strategies" award.

LaF has unfortiently had a couple of its better gainers gone away becouse of school, and the reson I rank Genesis above uss in gaining has alot to do with this, when they return (they will) I think LaF is going to reclaim the top average NW spot.

The LaF leader structure changes almost every reset and its going to change again, this is both good and bad, but with a fine structure of loyal players LaF will alwyaes follow its old wayes and remain the top alliance it has alwayes been.

Far and away one of the the strongest alliances ever. They continue to maintain an excellent relationships and longevity counts for a lot especially when it is combined with success. Their long history of strong leadership I think also is a plus, like LaF we in genesis have rotating leadership so we understand the advantages and disadvantages of that system.

i believe all the alliances here are lower than LaF because none of them are as good in netgaining (except Genesis) as them. A few alliances probably can fight better than them but no alliance will fight LaF and make them surrender, it will at the worst be a stalemate. Even though genesis is currently better at netgaining, it is because LaF has some veterans away irl because of school and they are going to come back. The most important thing is that LaF is its longetivity, no alliance dominated the top 100 for so long and so often as LaF.
