AoD, in the words of Dr.Sbaitso [ top ]

AoD pros:

Good pound for pound fighter. Any of the past 5-6 resets proves.

Proven to be decent gainers. Last reset proves - we even beat TheCult in avg net :o) (i'm proud of that only because I have so much respect for the cult's skills :)

AoD cons:

Poor public relations. We've said 1 or 2, uh, less memorable things on AT in the past.

Terrible starting. We ain't on the average net list for a WHILE.

Small member numbers. We aren't as big as we used to be. No recruiting coupled with lots of people leaving Earth (not too many recruited away LOL) have hurt for the past 3 resets.

ARROW, in the words of Nazar [ top ]

ARROW rocks..

Better than the tomato and the pickle combined.

ICN, in the words of ViLSE [ top ]

Well the primary concern for ICN has always been to have fun above everything else. We always sit around on IRC and chat about everthing that interests us.

To me this is a game that is supposed to be enjoyed or it isnt worth being played at all. People are always welcome to come and go to ICN at their own pleasure, quiet a few times people have left ICN thinking to find more excitement in other alliances. However most of the times they have come back after a reset or two trying out something else.

We also have a great lot of fun together and over the years ive ended up having ALOT of great friends in ICN, this is the main reason im still playing the game. I just love the companionship that is ICN. And i still enjoy the game aswell, although i think it needs some embellishments about now.

For the rest of your questions ill leave that to others not biased as i am.

NM, in the words of Nerobia [ top ]

Why NM is good, also is one of its downfalls... The members there are usually very disaplined and this can lead to it becoming to "serious" at times...

While striving to keep clean, NM also ends up being forgotten about at many times due to the lack of public exposure... Members not visiting AT is no coincedence...

Many members are attracted to NM's style because they are one of the most "mature" alliances around, which is suprising due to the members real personalities... Many people would not play in NM due to the leval of "maturity" that it takes... The excellent diplomatic work of people like LadyGrizz is also a double edged sword, some people like it, others don't... Members are not forced to like other alliances, but they are forced to respect them... If one wants to be respected, they must show respect as well after all...

PoW, in the words of NTL [ top ]

Unparalled family atmosphere, and consistantly higher participation rates than almost anyone. Started off as mainly fighters, but have gradually learned to net better and better. 9th in total net while at war and would probably have hit 6th or 7th without it.

The Cult, in the words of Tonya [ top ]

I believe that The Cult has a lot of great active players that have strong ties to the alliance. We tend to have more of a family atmospher - which I feel is a very strong point, as well as a little bit of a bad point. "bad" meaning that sometimes, due to the closeness of the membership, it can be tough for new folks to feel like they 'fit in'. But we have some projects this reset that hopefully will help with new folks joining us.

I believe that we have some great netgainers that not only know how to build high net countries but also know how to / have the patience to pass that knowledge on to other members. I consider this a very good point with no bad draw backs.

I believe that we don't have enough members, and we have some projects in the works this reset to attempt to remedy that, and continue to keep the fun enviroment that we have. But hey, everyone starts somewhere, right? :)

I believe that while we have a few members that really know the ins and outs of fighting, we have not had nearly enough practice in warring. This is a bit of a bad point. But I also believe that the end of The Cult/RED war we showed extreme improvement over the begining of that war. (read again - I didn't say we were up to a war alliance standard - just that we, based upon our own performance in the begining, improved a great deal). I think that this is something that we can work on, and while we don't have a project yet planned or written out - we do have some folks looking into getting a project underway.

I have a lot of respect for our leaders and the skill and dedication that they put forth each reset. I believe that we all work together as a team and support each other very well. I can't say enough about what these guys get done and the time and effort they put forth for the alliance - all Great points, with no bad in this.

Overall, I believe that we have a very solid alliance that, as most alliances can admit, have some work to do. But I also believe that we have the foundation and the dedication to move forward, fix the bad, and grow some more.
