believes that she has killed Seth and Jessica, and she plants Roxy's scarf at
the crash scene. Seth pries Jessica from the wreck and pulls her into a cave. As
a thunderstorm approaches, Seth hides his injuries as he assures a barely
conscious Jessica that everything will be fine. Meanwhile, Natalie leaves a
message for Seth to meet her at Break Bar, and he doesn't show. Natalie returns
the cash Max thinks Seth stole, and he agrees to give Seth another chance.
"Viki" confuses Ben when she reveals that she wants to take a solo
holiday, and "Viki" refuses to let Ben call Rae for help. Nora remains
conflicted about Sam, while Troy insists they belong together. Cristian shares
his continued hope for a rekindled romance with Jen, but Jen then surprises Al
by saying that she wants to get married right away. 4/2 Cristian
hammers Shawna for leaking Keri's story to the press, and Shawna retaliates by
leading Cristian to believe that Al has regained his ability to walk. Al basks
in the afterglow of his night with Jen, but Jen murmurs Cristian's name in her
sleep. As Al presses Jen to step up the wedding date, Cristian arrives wanting
to know if Al can truly walk again. Al remains in his wheelchair, and Jen
informs Cristian that she intends to stay with Al even if he recovers after
they're married. However, Jen gets a shock when she then returns to Al and finds
him standing as he talks to Gabrielle on the phone. 4/3 Al
quickly crumples to the floor upon seeing Jen and explains that he wants to be
able to walk for their wedding. Gabrielle overhears Jen say she saw Al standing,
and Gabrielle mistakenly assumes that Al has told Jen the truth. 4/4 Natalie
accuses Allison and Roxy of knowing Jessica and Seth's whereabouts and of
scamming Jessica for money. Natalie order's Al to search Seth's place, and
Allison appears on the verge of discovering that Al can walk when she palms one
of Roxy's hairclips and heads over to Seth's as well. Furthermore, Natalie
confronts Roxy about the truth. Meanwhile, upset Jessica asks Seth if Roxy ran
them off the road. 4/5 believes
that her birth mother tried to kill them, and Seth does his best to comfort her,
but she fears that no one will find them. Natalie's bribes loosen Roxy's tongue
about the scam on Jessica, while Al makes Allison believe there's a rat in
Seth's apartment. Al hides in the apartment, and he overhears Allison say that
Seth's better off where he is with Jessica. However, Al does not see Allison
plant Roxy's hairclip in a drawer. Natalie arrives after Allison departs, and
she unsuccessfully presses Al to go to the police after learning about Allison's
visit. At the same time, Allison sends Roxy off in Allison's car and then calls
the police to report her car as stolen. Gabrielle tries cheering Jen up by
taking her shopping for a wedding dress, and Gabrielle is upset to learn that
Natalie knows that Al can walk. Meanwhile, Jen overwhelms Cristian with her
beauty when he sees her in the wedding gown. 4/8 Natalie
convinces Cristian that they must search for Jessica and Seth. Jessica and Seth
declare their love for each other. While Bo informs Allison about her stolen
car, Roxy calls to complain about the car. Allison gives Bo Roxy's location, and
the police arrest Roxy for auto theft. Allison runs into Natalie and Cristian,
and Natalie demands that Allison reveal Jessica and Seth's whereabouts. "Viki"
shocks Blair and Todd when she initially refuses to take in Starr and Jack, but
covers and ultimately agrees. Blair and Todd share a tearful good-bye with the
children, as "Viki" tries hiding her distaste for holding baby Jack.
However, Starr busts "Viki" when she catches her telling the baby to
shut up. Meanwhile, Sam riles Todd when he tells Blair he'll get the children
back for her. Renee is touched when Asa volunteers his mansion for Jen and Al's
wedding 4/9 Cristian
promises to help Natalie find Jessica and Seth after she expresses her emotional
connection to Seth. Natalie is overcome with guilt when Cristian shares his love
for Jen. Natalie regrets her pact with Al, and sexual tension heats between
Natalie and Cristian. Meanwhile, Jessica and Seth start to make love while
Natalie and Cristian's search leads them to the skid marks from Jessica and
Seth's car. Al surprises Jen with tickets to Switzerland to visit her friends.
Bo tells Roxy that Allison reported the car as stolen, and Roxy phones Allison.
Allison lies and promises Roxy that she will straighten things out, but Allison
secretly prepares to skip town. "Viki" tells Starr that she
misunderstood what she said to Jack, but Starr remains leery of "Viki's"
attitude. Later, Niki thinks Jack feels hot, but she shrugs it off. Lindsay
struggles with her new life in prison, and Jen visits her mother and informs her
of the impending wedding. Meanwhile, Antonio does his best to console Keri. 4/10 Natalie
discovers Seth's license plate and fears the worst, and Cristian calls the
police to help search. Meanwhile, Jessica and Seth make love. Bo questions Asa
about his ulterior motives for providing a location for Jen and Al's wedding,
but Asa swears that his gesture was sincere. Gabrielle asks Bo to be her escort
to the wedding, but he lets her down when he leaves for a case in San Francisco
instead. Jen tries on her wedding dress but fantasizes about Cristian, and Sam
advises Jen not to marry Al if she loves someone else. Al panics when he sees
the custodian who knows that he can walk. Jen overhears the custodian ask Al why
he needs a wheelchair ramp when Al can walk. In prison, Lindsay doesn't waste
anytime with finding a new enemy. Keri remains apprehensive at the hearing, but
Antonio promises a miracle. Shawna arrives with four more "witnesses,"
and Antonio slips out on a mission, returning just as the Dean prepares to rule
on Keri's case. Natalie overhears Seth's declaration of love to Jessica, but
covers her devastation and expresses relief for their recovery. 4/11 An
inconsolable Natalie wants her mother and arrives at Llanfair in time to hear
"Viki" admit that she hates Natalie. Devastated Natalie runs to the
carriage house where Cristian tries to comfort her. "Viki" also snaps
at Ben before she rushes off to the hospital to see Jessica. Antonio exposes
Shawna's "witnesses" as frauds, and Keri's miracle arrives when the
board apologizes and exonerates her. Antonio observes as RJ approaches Shawna,
and RJ assures her that their business is unfinished. Blair and Todd are
thrilled when they win their case and learn that they will get their children
back. Sam insists that he will find Nellie in order to make Jack's adoption
legal. Blair expresses her gratitude to Sam for enabling the return of her
children, and Todd quickly sobers when he arrives at Llanfair to pick up the
kids and finds Jack with a fever. Meanwhile, Al covers with Jen but remains
uneasy about the carpenter. Max spies Al slipping cash to the carpenter and
becomes enraged when Al comes clean that he's been able to walk for months. Max
and Al argue loudly, causing Jen, Gabrielle, Renee and Asa to come running. Max
presses Al to tell the truth to the new arrivals. Meanwhile, Asa blasts
Gabrielle for her interest in Bo. 4/12 Natalie
finally comes clean to Cristian about all of her lies and dirty tricks, and she
reveals to Cristian that Al can walk. Max mistakenly believes that Al will step
up to the plate and confess the truth to Jen and everyone. Al perpetuates his
lies and announces that he intends to see the Swiss specialist. Al begs Max to
keep his secret, but Max keeps Al on edge when he remains torn about what to do.
Meanwhile, Jen admits to Sam that she has doubts about marrying Al, but
ultimately walks down the aisle to Al when the wedding begins. 4/15 Al
fears Max will reveal the truth before he marries Jen. Natalie informs Cristian
that Al kept his ability to walk a secret from Jen to keep her from backing out
of marriage, and Cristian leaves to stop the wedding. Left alone, Natalie looks
at all her pictures of Seth for one last time before throwing them in the trash 4/16 Cristian
stops Jen and Al's wedding ceremony by announcing that Al can walk, and Jen asks
Al if Cristian is telling the truth. Al maintains that he cannot walk, and
Cristian begs Jen to talk to Natalie. Jen agrees and promises to return to
complete the ceremony afterward, but Al stops Jen in her tracks by standing. 4/17 At
the same time, Jessica wonders why Natalie kept Al's secret. Jen demands to
speak to Al alone and confronts him about his selfish motivation before walking
out on the ceremony. Jen flies back into Cristian's arms, and Al locks eyes with
Cristian over Jen's shoulder. 4/18 Natalie
admits to Seth that she tried to break up Jessica and Seth, and Seth grows
furious. However, when Jessica arrives, Seth covers for Natalie. When Jessica
slips upstairs for her purse, Seth insists that Natalie accept the end of their
relationship and that Natalie leave Jessica and Seth alone. Jessica and Seth
have it out with Roxy at the police station, and Roxy is stunned when Jessica
suggests that she ran them off the road. Jen prevents Al and Cristian from
exchanging blows, and Al falls apart once Jen leaves with Cristian. Sam admits
to Ben that Matthew remains in the dark about his split from Nora, and Sam
confirms the end of his love relationship with Nora. Later, Sam and Matthew walk
into the restaurant where Nora and Troy are dining. Meanwhile, angry Al finds
Natalie crying and alone. 4/19 Jen
and Cristian return to his loft, and Jen admits she lied to Al too and never
stopped loving Cristian. Together at last, Jen and Cristian make love.
Meanwhile, Al faces off to Natalie about stabbing him in the back, and Al slams
Natalie up against the wall with murder in his eyes. 4/22 Sexual
tension underlies Natalie and Al's angry exchange. Jordan does her best to
seduce Ben. Nora learns more about the real Troy. Gabrielle fails to keep Blair
occupied in order to prevent Blair from discovering the truth about Jack. Seth
tells Max that Al masterminded the plot against Seth, but Max grows distraught
when Al arrives and confesses to the crime. Al considers moving into the same
building as Jen and Cristian. 4/25 Jen
spies Cristian embracing Natalie after Natalie falls apart. Al flares at Rae for
suggesting that he see a therapist. Al stuns Cristian with the news that he
plans to rent the apartment next door. 4/26 Jen
visits Lindsay in prison and is extremely upset to learn that Jen returned to
Cristian. Sam further upsets Lindsay with the announcement of Nora and Troy's
romantic involvement. Nora invites Troy over for dinner after presenting him
with a gift. Ben confronts Nora about Sam. Todd realizes that Alex never spoke
to Blair, but Starr picks up Alex's message. Todd learns that Alex and Jack's
cells match perfectly. Starr calls Todd with a Todd asking about Alex's message.
Niki tells Jordan her new plan to get rid of Ben, and Niki uses Ben's keys to
raid the hospital drug cabinet, but Ben catches her. Natalie remains unnerved by
"Viki's" behavior. Natalie literally gets in the middle of Al and
Cristian's brawl. 4/29 Natalie
regains consciousness. Chad drops by to give Natalie her wallet, and Chad tells
Cristian that Viki propositioned him. 4/30 Carlotta
disapproves of the expensive tickets that Cristian has purchased for his
vacation with Jen. Natalie's thoughtful behavior touches Cristian. RJ questions
Keri about the fact that her debt has increased to fifty thousand dollars, but
Keri has an explanation. RJ slips the hefty collection bill into the envelope
meant for Carlotta. After a night of wild passion, Niki drugs Ben's coffee.
"Viki" arranges to walk in on Jordan and Ben in bed, accompanied by
Renee. Jessica and Antonio successfully catch Allison on tape demanding her cut
of the money from Roxy, and Jessica finally learns the truth that Allison drove
her and Seth off the road. Roxy inadvertently gives Allison the indication that
the room has been bugged, and Allison reels as Jessica, Seth and Antonio make a
run for Roxy's cabin. Meanwhile, Natalie remains haunted by her past, and she
runs away from Cristian MAY
2002 5/1 Chad
stuns Jen with the news that Al plans to move in next door, and Jen grows
further upset when she learns that Cristian knew all about Al's intentions. Jen
confronts Cristian, while Al argues with Chad, and Max threatens to keep Al from
following through with his plans. 5/2 Jen
grows wary of Natalie and Cristian's apparent closeness, but Cristian insists
that Natalie and he are only friends. Al steals a copy of Jen and Cristian's
travel itinerary. Al also turns on Max for lecturing him on how to live his
life, and Natalie alerts Max to Al's fragile mental state. 5/6 Todd
pushes Gabrielle to move Alex out of town, while Blair insists upon personally
thanking Jack's donor. Max interferes with Gabrielle's mission when he arrives
and asks for her help to convince Al to move in with him. 5/8 Al
spies Cristian comforting Natalie and believes that he has betrayed Jen.
Gabrielle shocks Alex when she answers Bo's phone, and Alex informs Gabrielle
that she has returned to Llanview for Bo. Sam informs Todd that he knows the
truth about Blair and Jack. Todd admits that he lied to Blair because he thought
Max fathered Jack, and Sam presses Todd to tell Blair the entire truth.
Meanwhile, Al prepares to tell Jen about Cristian's apparent infidelity, and Al
agrees to move into the millhouse. Afterward, Al follows Jen and Cristian to the
airport. 5/10 Jen
and Cristian are thrilled with their accommodations in Las Vegas.
Al is trying to get a flight out to Las Vegas and is frantic something
will happen before he gets there. Max
is surprised to learn that Al is not at the hospital getting a checkup from
Larry. Natalie runs into Al at the
airport and quickly concludes he is trying to follow Jen and Cris.
She calls him on it although he tries to finesse his way out of the
situation. Max becomes really
suspicious about what Al is up to when he learns that Al never had an
appointment to see Larry or anyone else. Sam
chooses this time to have it out with Max about the long ago aborted wedding
between Jen and Al when Max knew Al could walk and did not tell anyone.
Max tracks Al’s credit card charges.
Natalie calls and tries to warn Jen and Cris that Al is planning to
follow them but they are not accepting calls. 5/13 Al
spies on Cristian and Jen in the casino, and mistakenly thinks they're eloping.
Roxy waylays Al after seeing him shadowing Jen and Cristian, and forces Al to
buy her silence. Cristian and Jen have a romantic interlude in their room, after
which Cristian goes back to the casino to set up a surprise for Jen. After
Cristian leaves, Jen is paid a visit by Natalie. 5/14 Natalie
tells Jen she came to warn her and Cristian that Al is in town. Jen think's
Natalie is lying, and just wants to see Cristian herself. When she calls Max to
verify Al's location, Max says he is in Llanview, covering for his son, who he
thinks has left for home. Later, Natalie finds Cristian and Al shows up at Jen's
door. 5/15 Jen
stays strong in the face of Al's assertion that Cristian is seeing Natalie
behind her back. Jen tells Al that she believes in Cristian, and asks him to
leave. After Natalie tells Cristian that Al is in town, he heads upstairs, but
is stopped by an angry Elvis who thinks Cristian owes him money. When Cristian
blows him off, he follows Cristian and hits him from behind. Elvis is about to
stab Cristian when Al steps in and saves his life. 5/16 Max
wakes up hungover, and finds Roxy in his bed. She assures him that he never
gambled, but they did make mad, passionate love. He's comforted when she
cryptically agrees that it was a one-nighter. Max dresses and is about to leave
when Room Service arrives with the Newlywed Breakfast Special — and he
realizes that he and Roxanne were married last night! 5/20
(LIVE WEEK) Max
tries to get the minister to say that he and Roxy are not married but the
minister and his wife back up Roxy. And
Max learns there is a videotape of the ceremony. 5/21 Max
tells Roxy he wants a divorce and she agrees but tells him there is a pre-nup—half
of what is his goes to her. Natalie,
Cris, Jen and Al run into each other at the airport.
Al apologizes to Jen and Cris for following them and tells them he knows
he has been out of control. He
explains that even Max could not talk sense into him. Jen points out that Al did
save Cristian’s life and she is all for letting bygones be bygones.
Cris goes along with her but as soon as they leave, Natalie tells Al that
she’s not buying his sudden turnaround for one second.
Their conversation is interrupted however by the arrival of Max and Roxy.
Al and Natalie learn that Max and Roxy are married. 5/
22 Al
and Natalie are shocked at Max & Roxy’s news. Al blames himself for Max getting drunk and ending up married
to Roxy. Max reassures Al that Max
is responsible for his own behavior. They begin to mend fences and reconnect.
Natalie accuses Roxy of using an unsuspecting Max and Roxy lashes back
viciously. Cris overhears and intercedes on Natalie’s behalf.
Jen approaches Natalie and tells her that she know Natalie and Cris are
just friends and she appreciates the fact that she tried to warn them about Al.
In the meanwhile, Al is more than a little put off by Roxy’s behavior
but Max asserts that the marriage is just temporary. 5/23 On
the airplane, Roxy comes back from first-class to seek out Natalie.
They talk and things get heated. Natalie
wants to know why Roxy abandoned Rex and treated her so badly.
Roxy goes on the offensive and calls Natalie a loser.
Once again, Cris rushes to Natalie’s defense. Roxy wonders what is going on between the two of them. Roxy
is obviously not convinced by the “we’re just friends argument.”
She finally leaves and Cris comforts Natalie. 5/24 Natalie
and Rex are reunited in Llanview. 5/28 Jen
and Cris are studying for their last final exam. Natalie joins them. She
tells Cris about seeing Rex the previous night. When Jen and Cris talk about the
fun they should all have this summer, Natalie hopes Rex can join them and they
can all be friends. Meanwhile at
Llanfair, Jessica asks Rex how he slept and he tells her he is thrilled with the
accommodations. Al arrives to tell
Jen about Roxy and Max but Natalie has already told her.
Al meets Rex, his “step-bro.” Al
gives his guilt infused rant about why Max married Roxy.
At the Mill House, Roxy makes herself at home.
Gabrielle arrives and thinks Roxy is the maid.
Sparks fly. When Gabrielle
sharpens her claws on Roxy, Max defends Roxy, which Roxy takes as proof of his
real feelings. Once Gabrielle
leaves though, Max turns cold again. Later,
Rex goes to the Mill House to see Roxy for the first time in ten or twelve
years. Roxy doesn’t recognize
him. 5/29 Jen
and Cristian are at the quarry celebrating the completion of their last final
exam. Shawna and Mollie spot them
and Shawna goes out of her way to pick a fight.
She says that Jen was stupid for falling for Al’s paralysis hoax and
for dumping Cris. Jen strikes back
and Shawna and Mollie give her plenty of space.
Jen in turn tells Cris how sorry she is about the choices she made where
Al was concerned. Cris reassures
her that it is all behind them. Jen
suggests a picnic and they go off to get supplies and agree to meet back at the
quarry in an hour. Rex
asks Roxy point-blank why she gave him up and she claims she had no choice.
Natalie, who arrives with Jessica to “rescue” Rex from Roxy,
disagrees. Once again Roxy
retaliates by saying particularly cruel things to Natalie—including that no
one ever has or will love her. 5/31 Roxy
has her marriage to Max announced in The Sun and then begins to assert her
control and style at Break Bar. Max
tries to get rid of her but Roxy is having none of that.
The bar is half hers. Al
visits Gabrielle and wonders aloud about the status of her relationship with Bo.
Gabrielle claims the relationship is purely platonic.
Al is not convinced. Picking
up food at the diner for his picnic with Jen, Cris runs into Natalie.
She is extremely upset over what Roxy said to her.
Cris comforts her, just in time for Jen to spy them together—again.
When Cris goes to get the food, Jen lashes out at Natalie and tells her
to stay away from Cris. Later,
Chad asks Natalie out on a date and Al determined to protect Max, moves into the
Mill House. JUNE
2002 6/4 Rae
causes Cristian to panic when she presents him with his grade. Meanwhile,
Natalie opens up to Chad when plans to attend a rock concert fall through. 6/5 Al
becomes territorial around Roxy, and she fights back. Max joins in the games,
and Roxy experiences an unusual reaction to her husband's marital maneuverings.
Cristian finds Natalie in the midst of researching a heavy topic, and Cristian
asks a favor of Natalie. Jen attacks Natalie after spying Natalie interacting
with Cristian, and Al watches as Cristian steps between Jen and Natalie. 6/6 Meanwhile,
Cristian upsets Jen with his reaction to her fight with Natalie, and Al uses
this to his advantage. 6/11 Al
fails to stall a truce between Jen and Cristian, and the young couple reunites
at the quarry, while Al shrugs off Shawna's accusations. 6/13 Cristian
unsettles Al with complete knowledge of Al's manipulative conversation with Jen,
and Al stings Cristian in return. 6/14 Meanwhile,
Cristian confronts Jen about sharing family secrets with Al instead of him, and
the misunderstanding escalates. Natalie comes across Cristian in the aftermath,
and Cristian asks Natalie to stay with him. 6/17 Jen
visits Lindsay in prison, and Lindsay manipulates Jen into doing her bidding,
while Allison remains suspicious of Lindsay. Rex meets Cristian after observing
his interaction with Natalie, and Rex embarrasses Natalie with a delicate
question. 6/19 Cristian
reacts when Jen approaches him about the state of their relationship. Natalie
scoffs at Chad's suggestion, and later Natalie finds Cristian clad only in a
towel. 6/20 Natalie
and Cristian compare notes about Natalie's mother, and Natalie inadvertently
poses a new threat to Jen and Cristian's relationship. 6/21 “Viki"
incorporates a visit from Jen into her plans to drive Natalie crazy, and Jen
ends up blasting confused Natalie. 6/24 "Viki"
manages to avoid detection from Cristian, and "Viki" feigns motherly
concern when she walks in on Jen arguing with Natalie. Cristian annoys Jen when
he chooses to apologize to Natalie, and Natalie ends up confiding her darkest
fears to Cristian about her mental health. 6/25 Natalie
shares with Cristian the reasons for her private terror, and Jen interrupts
burgeoning feelings between Cristian and Natalie. JULY 2002 7/2 Ben's
injuries appear life threatening. "Viki" secretly prays for the worst
and startles Larry when she denies his request to perform emergency surgery.
Cristian discovers a message that Niki planted on Natalie's computer implicating
her in Ben's accident while comforting her, and Bo grows suspicious of Natalie
as well after questioning Jessica and Rex. Troy misinterprets a conversation
about forgiveness between Emily and Nora, and dark memories rise to the surface.
Later, Troy discovers Nora embracing Sam. Chad harbors regrets about his past,
but Emily puts a smile back on his face. Meanwhile, Seth senses that Cristian's
words do not accurately portray the state of Cristian's relationship with Jen. 7/3 Bo questions Natalie about the sequence of events leading up
to Ben's fall, and Cristian takes a daring measure to protect Natalie when he
deletes the incriminating message on the computer 7/5 Al seizes an opportunity to reconnect with Jen. Al admits to
Gabrielle that he intends to pursue Jen. Meanwhile, Jen finds Natalie and
Cristian together. 7/8 Natalie worries about the toll of her relationship with
Cristian, while Jen confides her fears to Al about Cristian's involvement with
Natalie. Gabrielle pays Max a visit after receiving a strong dose of guilt from
Al, and Al shares his feelings about Jen with his mother revealing that he still
has feelings for her 7/10 Jen fails to engage Lindsay in a conversation regarding Jen's
problems, and Jen grows increasingly certain of Lindsay's involvement in
something nefarious. Jen's day goes from bad to worse when Cristian refuses to
come clean with her about Natalie. Al overhears Natalie confiding in Cristian
about her supposed mental illness, and Al rocks Natalie when he later confronts
her. 7/11 Natalie protects herself and covers in response to Al's
probing about DID, but Jessica's admissions to Al put Natalie back in the hot
seat. Cristian fails to change Natalie's mind after seeing tortured Jen, and
Natalie approaches Bo with her story. 7/12 Al horrifies Gabrielle when he hopes to win Jen back with the
results of his private investigation. Claire puts the pressure on Gabrielle to
pay off the balance of Al's hospital bills. 7/15 Natalie
confides in Cristian that she fears that Ben may reveal that she is the one who
pushed him. Cristian surprises Natalie with his unwavering that ultimately leads
to a passionate kiss. 7/16 Rex interrupts Natalie and Cristian discussing the kiss with
the news of Ben waking up. Rex questions Natalie after he overhears her and
Cristian promising to not tell anyone about the kiss. 7/18 Jessica
angers Natalie when she asks her to move out before Ben gets home from the
hospital, and Jessica confronts Cristian about Natalie. Natalie runs to Cristian
for support after fighting with Jessica, and Natalie ends up in another
altercation as a result, this time with Jen. Asa sends Claire to pressure
Gabrielle re: Al's hospital bills. Al rushes to Jen's side when she calls in a
panic. 7/19 Al finds Jen and Natalie feuding over Cristian, and Al
disregards his father's concern and uses the situation to his advantage. 7/22 Al startles Natalie when he asks about her relationship with
Cristian, and Al eavesdrops as Natalie calls Cristian in a panic afterward.
Cristian assures Natalie that he will uncover who really pushed Ben from the
window, and Cristian shares his suspicions about "Viki" with Natalie
after an odd encounter with her mother. 7/25 Natalie and Cristian uncover more disturbing inconsistencies
in the events leading up to Ben's accident, and the two begin to formulate their
own theory about the event. Later, Cristian zeros in on "Viki", while
Jen finally takes the bull by the horns and confronts Natalie about her
involvement with Cristian. 7/26 Jen
and Natalie argue about Cristian, and Al jumps at the chance to become Jen's
hero. In the process of comforting Jen, Al learns of Natalie and Cristian's
plans for the evening, and Al uses the information for his own hidden agenda. AUGUST 2002 8/1 Al
sets fire to Jen's room, leaving Natalie's keys at the scene. Al creates an
alibi for himself by appearing at Llanfair, and Al grows horrified when Sam
reveals that Jen returned home. Natalie and Cristian come to their senses, and
Cristian returns his focus to protecting Natalie. 8/2 Cristian finds Al rescuing Jen from her burning home, and Al
appears poised to tell Jen the truth. Natalie and Cristian learn that Natalie's
keys showed up at the scene of the fire, and Natalie and Cristian remain
tormented by their less than plutonic feelings for one another. 8/5 Sam
and Jen accuse Natalie of starting the fire when Natalie's keys are found in
Jen's room. Cristian tells Sam and Jen that Natalie could not have been
responsible because Natalie had been with him at the time of the fire. 8/7 Natalie
lies through her teeth and makes Cristian look like a hero in Jen's eyes.
Cristian arrives and Natalie prevents him from telling Jen the truth before
leaving to be alone. 8/8 Nora
almost discovers Lindsay at the hospital. Lindsay witnesses Nora comforting Jen.
Lindsay has a close call with a hospital security guard and Nora and Troy learn
that Lindsay is still on the loose. 8/9 Natalie
arrives at the police station in Atlantic City, but the cops don't believe her
wild tale. After almost telling Jen the truth, Cristian and Jen head to Atlantic
City to help Natalie. Al wrestles with a guilty conscience. Max doesn't believe
Roxy when she calls and says she is in danger. 8/12 Cristian
confesses his feelings about Natalie to Antonio and admits he and Natalie almost
slept together. Jen is floored when she overhears Natalie telling Cristian that
Jen will never find out they almost made love. 8/13 Jen
overhears Natalie promise Cristian that she will never tell Jen what almost
happened between them. Jen is furious that both Cristian and Natalie lied to
her. Cristian finds an upset Jen who covers the real reason for her anger.
Later, Jen confronts Natalie. 8/14 Max
and Gabrielle praise a quilt-ridden Al, who is summoned to the station by Bo.
Rex makes Cristian squirm with his questioning innuendo. Natalie fears the worst
when Jen confronts her. Natalie and Cristian are taken aback when Jen announces
she wants to be Natalie's friend. Jen later asks Cristian to make love to her. 8/15 Cristian
is full of dread when he thinks Jen knows the truth but she backpedals and
thanks him for his love. Al questions Jen's change of heart towards Natalie. Al
successfully throws Bo off his trail. 8/20 Jen
invites Natalie to dinner and explains to Al she wants to make Cristian and
Natalie miserable. Cristian is called away and Jen refuses to let Natalie leave. 8/21 Jen takes great delight in torturing Natalie about Cristian. 8/22 Al
fears that his actions could place Max in jeopardy. 8/23 Jessica
tells Al her theory that Niki started the fire. Gabrielle eavesdrops and later
asks Al if he started the fire. Max feigns relief when he finds Roxy alive. 8/26 Gabrielle forces Al to admit that he set the fire. Max takes
Roxy to Capricorn and enlists RJ's help in his scheme to divorce Roxy on grounds
of abandonment. Roxy remembers seeing RJ with Allison and calls the police. 8/27 Gabrielle
covers for Al in front of Max but doesn't promise Al that she'll keep his secret
indefinitely. Jen realizes that Al might have set the fire. 8/28 Roxy
is awarded all of Max's assets in the divorce. Max is only slightly relieved
when Roxy decides to stay married instead of taking the money. Jen confronts Al
about setting the fire. Al tries to convince Jen that he acted out of love for
her. 8/29 Jen
flies into a rage after spying a close moment between Cristian and Natalie. Jen
vows revenge on Cristian and Natalie. Gabrielle convinces Al to turn himself in.
