Marcie: So I wanted you on the next "bridge the gap" because of that article that you wrote on sexual harassment on campus. It was great. Jessica: Yeah, well, I wish we could get Professor Barnes on, just try to get him to defend himself. Marcie: Good luck. I can't even mention his name or he could sue us. Jessica: Yeah, I couldn't write about him in my article, either. Marcie: Something wrong? Jessica: I'm sorry, I was just thinking about my uncle Todd. Marcie: Yeah, with what his wife's charging him with? Jessica: I just -- I don’t know how Blair could lie about something like that. But, I mean, Todd swears that he didn’t do it, and my mom has always told me my whole life that Todd loves Blair more than anything else, so -- Marcie: So who's telling the truth? ***
Marcie: Thank God Antonio showed up when he did. I mean, who knows what Dr. MacIver could've done. Jessica: He just -- he just knew somehow. I mean, it's almost like he could sense that I was in danger. I know that sounds so stupid. Marcie: No. No, not at all. It was always that way with me and Al. Jessica: I miss him so much, Marcie. I can't even imagine how you must be feeling, and my poor sister without Cristian. Marcie: I'm trying. You know, I have my classes and my job at the police station, and this radio show -- I think it's really doing great, which is why I'm so excited that you're going to come on and do the show about sexual harassment. Jessica: Yeah. Oh, I think that I can put you in touch with one of the students who claimed that Professor Barnes hit on her. Marcie: Oh, wow. Oh, I already called Dr. Haver and Dr. Cummings, and they said as long as they're not busy with the music box murders that they're all set to do it. ********************************

Marcie: Here are those files that you wanted. Where do you want them? Rae: Thank -- Marcie: Oh, no, no -- Rae: Oh, mercy. Marcie: Don’t worry about it, don’t worry about it. I've got them. Rae: Let me help you. Marcie: I got it. I swear, I have it all under control. Rae: Yeah, right. There you go. Marcie: Sorry. Rae: It's ok. Stephen: Nora -- any word yet? Nora: No, no. I was just checking my voicemail to see if Matthew called and I missed it. Stephen: When's the last time you spoke to him? Nora: After you left, actually. You were right. Troy did call back. Stephen: Good. Nora: And -- I asked to meet with him, and we set something up, and then he didn’t show. So -- you said that he wasn't -- he said he wasn't going to hurt Matthew, right? That it wasn't part of his problem? Stephen: And it's not likely he will. Nora: "Not likely"? It's not likely that he will? I mean, what does that mean, that there's a chance that he will hurt Matthew? Is that what you're saying? Stephen: No, what it means -- Bo: Give it to us straight, doctor. How much danger is Matthew in? Stephen: All I'm saying is the longer this goes on, the more desperate Troy will become. I'm not going to minimize the risks. John: You're saying he could lose it? Stephen: I'm saying it's time to find Matthew, soon. As soon as you can. Nora: Oh, God. Matthew: Bo! Bo: Hey, bud. Matthew: Mom! Nora: Oh, God, sweetie. ********************************* Nora: Oh. Sure you're ok? Matthew: No, he didn’t do anything. Nora: Really? Bo: Did he hurt you, son? Matthew: He was scary sometimes, but I'm ok. Nora: You sure? John: Matthew, you ok enough to maybe answer a few questions? It's all right with your dad. You know, because it might help us find Dr. MacIver. Ready? Matthew: Ok. John: Ok, I need for you to think real hard. Do you remember anything that you might have talked about with Dr. MacIver? Matthew: About how he didn’t kill all those ladies he said he did. Stephen: He said that? Matthew: He said he knows who did it. John: Did he say who that was? Matthew: He didn’t say anybody's name. But he said it was somebody who’s trying to make him look like a bad guy. Stephen: Classic paranoia. Rae: He doesn't trust anyone or anything. Matthew: He said he didn’t trust you, Mom, but I told him he could because I trusted you. Nora: Well, I'm glad you did. Because we never gave up looking for you, you know that? Bo: How'd you get away from him? Matthew: I ran away when he fell asleep. Bo: And you found him? Ron: Yeah, yeah. I was coming back from a construction site, and I saw him just walking alongside the road with his flashlight, so I picked him up. John: You think maybe you could tell us where that is exactly? Ron: Yeah, sure, I'll show you. Nora: We love you so much. Just were so worried about you, you know that? Bo: Yeah, we love you more than anything, buddy. Nora: More than anything in this whole big, wide world. Antonio: I understand they canceled the alert. That's great news. Bo: Yeah, but it's not over yet. Now we got to catch the bastard. ********************************* Marcie: You know, I just wish that we would hear something already, like whether Dr. MacIver was arrested or not. At least you found Matthew. Thank goodness. Ron: Yeah, I know. That kid is amazing -- to go through what he did and still keep it together like that. I can't believe it. I hope to have a kid like that someday. Marcie: You will. Al and I, we wanted to have kids. You know, lots of them. But you know what? I think it's going to be you to make Dad a grandpa first. Ron: Yeah, Marce, I think I need a girlfriend first. Marcie: We'll do something about that. Ron: Oh, yeah? Go ahead. Knock yourself out. **************************************

Jen: Hey. Marcie: Hey. Whoa. You ok? Jen: That depends. You got some aspirin? Marcie: Yeah, I do. You have the flu? Jen: Hangover. I toured every bar in Llanview last night. Marcie: With Rex? Jen: No, I wasn't with him. But I did run into him at one point, I think. There are some blank spots in the night. Do you ever wake up and you realize that you must have changed clothes but you just don't remember when you did it? Marcie: So you took that makeup history exam hung-over, huh? Jen: I blew it off. Marcie: Jen, that's 30% of the final grade. Jen: You know, I don't really even know how much I care about that anymore. Look at my life or what's left of it. How is a college diploma really going to help me out? You know that guy the other day? He offered me $1,000 just to take my clothes off and dance for him and some buddies at a party. Marcie: Jen, dancing is just going to be the first step towards a whole line of going down a road that you don't want to go. Jen: The point is Rex had nothing to do with it. Marcie: Point is that you better start hanging out with better people, people that care about you and respect you. Jen: Like who? Ron: Hey, you two. Whoa, Jen. Did you have a rough night last night? ****
Jen: So, thanks for lending me those C.D.s. Marcie: You loaned someone your precious C.D.s? Ron: Yeah. I hope you enjoy them. Marcie: So, do you two want to hang out tonight? I'm going to hang out with Greg. It's nothing special. Why don't you two come along? Jen: Uh -- Ron: I'm sure Jen has plans for tonight, right? Jen: No, I don't. I mean, it'd be fun to hang out with you -- I mean, with all of us as a group. Marcie: Yeah, great. Ron: Ok, so, where we headed? Jen: How about Ultra Violet? Marcie: Can’t we pick someplace else? Ron: Ultra Violet would be great, right? Jen: Great. Ultra Violet, then. Ron: Great. Marcie: Great. ******************************************* Natalie: Hey, on your off shift or in between shifts? Al: In between, so feed me fast before I fall asleep. Natalie: No problem. Have a seat at the bar. I'll be right there. Al: What are you doing here? Greg: Waiting for Marcie. We've got a date. You got a problem with that? You going to give me another rant like last time? I cut you some slack then. ************************************************ Ron: Here you go. Jen: Thanks. Ron: Listen, Jen, I know Marcie wants us both to have fun and she thinks we should have it together, but, really, there's no pressure. If you want to bail, it's totally cool. Jen: No. No way. It'll be fun. Come on. You know, Marcie's just afraid that I have too many bad influences in my life. Ron: Well, do you? Jen: One in particular. Ron: So I'm a good influence, huh? I'm not so sure how I feel about that. Jen: You're her big brother. So, are you on? You don't want to disappoint Marcie, do you? Ron: No, no. We don't want to do that, do we? Al: Throwing around threats -- now, that's probably not the best way to deal with this situation. Greg: They're not empty words, McBain. Marcie: What's going on here? Greg: We were just chatting. Al: Yeah. I was just about to get myself something to eat, actually. Marcie: Well, you know what, Greg? Let's get out of here. Al: No, no, no, no, no, don't be silly. I was just leaving. Go ahead, sit down. John: Excuse me for a second. Hey, I'm glad I ran into you. I'm packing up. The Bureau's called me back to New Jersey. Al: Really? I was just getting used to having a brother around. John: Well, you know, Michael, New Jersey's not that far away. Al: Yeah. You know, maybe one of these days when I have more than a couple of hours between shifts, I could get down and see you. John: Who knows -- maybe we could hook up, take Mom to dinner or something. Al: Yeah. Yeah, maybe. John: Goodbye, Michael. Al: See you around, man. John: Ok. Riley: There's my dad. Man, I hope he's not here for a drink. John: I'll get your number from somebody. Al: Yeah, yeah, that'd be -- Daniel: Agent McBain? Excuse me. Al: I'll see you around. John: All right, Michael. I'll get your number. Something wrong with MacIver? Daniel: No, no, we're ok with him. He's under heavy guard, waiting to be transferred. John: So, what's up? Daniel: I -- my office -- all of Llanview -- is indebted to you for your work in apprehending the music box killer. I think it's safe to say that no one's worked harder than you. John: No, a lot of people worked really hard -- hey, you know, thanks. Daniel: Good luck, John. John: Take care of yourself. Daniel: You, too. John: Ok. Daniel: Hey, son. How you doing? Antonio: So -- here's to a job well done. John: Great. Singer: When things don't go quite right nothing comes easy ****
Riley: We're going to try and cut our independent over at L.U. next semester. Daniel: "Independent"? Flash: Without my great-grandfather's help. Daniel: Oh, well, great. You know, I admire your commitment. I mean it. Riley: Thank you, Dad. Daniel: Listen, when you guys are free, I'd love to take you guys out to dinner. But maybe we should do it at my house, huh? Flash: That would be really nice, Mr. Colson. Thank you. Daniel: And I'm really glad you're safe now, Flash. Listen, I got to get back and supervise the transfer of MacIver to Statesville, all right? Flash: Thank you for everything. Thank you, really. Riley: I'll see you, Dad. Daniel: All right. Have fun. Flash: Excuse me. Who was that guy? Because he looked like your dad, but I really -- I don't think that was your -- Riley: I think -- I think he's really trying to work the program. You know, A.A.? Flash: Yeah. I'm so glad for you. So glad. Riley: It feels nice getting closer to my dad and really trying to reach out. Flash: Oh, come on. I don't even know where my mom is, and the only reason I saw my dad was because Asa made me go to London. Riley: And that was months ago. Natalie: Cranberry juice? Al: It's not for me. This is all for Greg. Marcie: So I'm going to go -- excuse me -- oh, oh, perfect! Al: Oh, my God. Marcie: Oh, this is perfect! Al: Oh, my God, I'm so sorry. I am so sorry -- Marcie: Don't even try it. Just forget about it. Al: I really didn’t mean to do it, ok? I'm so sorry -- Marcie: Just be quiet, please! Can you just please take me back to my dorm room? Greg: Yeah, of course. Marcie: I've got to get changed to meet Ron and Jen. Greg: Let's go. Marcie: Thanks. Antonio: Hey, it's getting kind of late. I need to go pick up Jamie. Jessica: Yeah, if we're too late, she falls asleep, and I hate waking her up. Take care, John. John: Oh. Thank you, Jessica. Antonio: Hey, you know, why don't you come work with me at the Llanview P.D., huh? You'll enjoy the pay cut. John: I'll tell you what, I'll keep that in mind. Thank you -- Antonio: Good night, John. John: For everything. Why don't you guys go ahead, though, because I got one thing I got to do. Antonio: All right. Stay safe. John: You, too.
