Hey everybody! Great GREAT news!
Not only was Kathy at the fan luncheon today, but Nathaniel was too!!!!
I took about a million pictures, LOL! Totally pimped out the site, LOL!
Tessarae, I got your autographs.....Kathy signed hers "Thanks for the Diner
of Love". And they both were very aware of this site. I told them they have
much support on the net, and BOTH of them (they sat them together) told all the
fans that came through their line that we need to KEEP UP THE CALLS AND LETTERS,
etc.........They both seemed to think that a strong show of fan support might
change the tide. I cannot tell you how happy I was to hear that! I came back to
their line a few times with friends after I had gone through....to take their
picture for them, and basically to stand nearby my fave couple, LOL! Anyway, I
overheard someone say something like "There's a number you can call,
really?" And I spoke right up and said (loudly,LOL) "Yes, it's
212-456-3338! Call it please!" And several women came up to me and wrote
down the number and I gave them my little Diner of Love cards with the website
addy on it. So we may have a few new faces here soon! It was kinda funny because
I could only remember the last four numbers (and the area code)....and then
Nathaniel pipes up with "456?" And I was like "YES!, thank
you!" LOL!
Girls I cannot tell you how happy we were when they announced Kathy's name.
Because I really didn't think she was going to show up. And when they announced
Nathaniel.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG we all went nuts! They sat together
and chatted the whole time, and really seemed to get along great.
I got to meet Char/Lady Eevil, Jadyland2000, Snappydaze, and Tracey. It was
great meeting all of you! (and Tracey, thanks for making those MARCAL
badges....NM & KB loved them!!!)
Okay, this computer in this cyber cafe sucks....the space bar doesn't work half
the time and it's pissing me off, LOL! Anyone else who was at the luncheon, come
post here in this thread about your experience.
Oh and one last very sad note...James DePaiva came to the luncheon....he told us
all that they terminated his contract YESTERDAY!!!!! Kassie was crying, James
gave his #1 fan a signed vest that he wore at his first screen test(with Andrea
Evans), and we all gave him a long standing ovation (to say that people were
stunned is an understatement). --Ladyday, MARCAL # 1

They were
totally awesome....
I was sitting
right in front of them...with Nathaniel right in front of me...so I just clicked
away. LOL...
I watched KB and NM the entire time and they were
so cute and very relaxed around each other and you can really see the admiration
and adoration they fell for each other. They were so fun to watch.. LOL.
I made this scrapbook thingy where I just cut out pictures of the actors and put
them in a book and they all went nuts over it. Kathy said I was really
creative...Robin thought it was totally cool and had to look through it all.
Ilene went nuts and wrote that I rocked. LOL...
I thought this years luncheon was fantastic and it was fun and we had alot of
fun. And it was nice to put names with screennames.
I'm beyond exhausted and don't remember anything else.

OMG, I can't
believe I forgot to tell you guys this!
LadyEevil (Char) brought us all those
really cute Diner socks from Target as gifts. She gave a pair to Kathy too
(Kathy loved them). It was so sweet of Char to do that, and I can't believe I
forgot to share that with my MARCAL Sisters!

Hi MARCALS.
I am late, but wanna hear my luncheon recap?
Well I had a
blast. I met more Net pals and as you know I do some work for Kassie DePaiva's
fan club, so I was happy that Kassie won best actress. IMO after live week and
her consistent brilliance she deserved it. We had lunch and the actors answered
questions. Then we got to get autographs and pictures. I met my heart throb
Trevor St, John whom I am in love with. I met the phenomonal Robin Strassar, the
beautiful Catherine Hickland, Dan Gauthier (Nu-Kevin; he is a riot), the new DA,
and our beloved MARCAL.
I asked them both if they got the flowers and teddy bears we sent and they said
yes and thank you so much. Kathy loved the gerber daisies. I told her I looked
for weeks to find her birthday and just decided to send them for whenever her
birthday was. I told Nathaniel that his flowers were delivered on his birthday
but he was on vacation. I told him the florist called me and asked for his home
address so he could deliver them there and I said that if I knew that I wouldn't
need the florist to deliver them. They both laughed. LOL I told him that I
started the Save Nathaniel Marston petition and that we had over 700 signatures.
He said thank you so much.
I told them how much we love them on the Corner Booth and that we would keep
fighting. He said keep writing in and so did kathy. She said we want him to
stay. They were so cute and sweet with each other. Nathaniel had boxed at a
09/11 benefit I was at and I gave him my brother's memorial t-shirt and hat (my
brother was a Firefighter lost on 09/11) He was very moved. They both took
pictures with me. Later I came out of the elevator and saw them again and
screamed in joy. I hugged Nathaniel and told him we would keep fighting.
I also gave Trevor a t-shirt and hat and Robin Strassar. They were both touched.
I started to cry when I gave them to Robin and she gave me a beautiful present.
She talked about this on her hotline. I talkeed to my gal Kassie and took
pictures of her and Walker and Kevin. The saddest part of the luncheon was the
news that James DePaiva was let go from OLTL. It made me cry and when Kassie saw
me crying it made her tear up. This man is such a talented actor and he will be
missed more than I can say. I loved meeting SnappyDaze and seeing all my online
friends again. I have hope for MARCAL and was so overjoyed to meet them.
