place today.

This is just a hit
and miss post. I'm too tired to type up a detailed cap. Hopefully the others can
post.
Kathy was all over the place today. I met up with Deb and Tink. Both were
totally cool and we did the Talk show and Media Interview together.
Kathy Brier
Kathy mentioned in the star conversations that Nathaniel was her best friend and
having him was like having her heart back. He made her laugh and helped relieve
her stress. She was so cute in this and maybe Deb or Tink can give an exact
recap of what she actually said.
She sang Piece of my Heart at the Talk Show. I think she forgot the words to
begin the song and Kassie and Linda helped her out. it was so cool and she just
belted the tune out.
Kathy Brier
I went through her line and I had planned on asking her about working with Erika
but she saw me and said I know you...we've met before. Totally floored me that
she would remember me from the luncheon. Hehe…made my day.
She told my buddy that there are lots of Micheal and Marcie stuff coming.
She did the media interviews and once again mentioned that she hoped that Marcie
could become stronger and more mature as she continues her journey. I thought
Marc ie already did that...
She sang in the Street Jam…Good Morning Baltimore and then lead them in
America the Beautiful (I think) an they did this ast he fireworks were going
off. It was great.
I had a great time with Deb and Tink and one thing I noticed is that Kathy is
very well loved by everyone in that cast and crew.
Oh!
Our girl got the ONLY standing O during the street jam. I was so excited for her
all I could do was giggle!
She looked FABULOUS (but for the life of me could not tell ya what she wore) and
she sounded FABULOUS.

Another hit and miss
post...I'm still dog tired. This is a fun filled and action packed weekend but
it is totally exhausting.
I didn't do much Kathy related today. Kathy told one of the people n line that
her run of hairspray ends in Feb and the girl taking over is good.
And!!!

Kathy had on a
Marcie outfit. LMAO!! It was from when Marcie and Al nearly made love but he
fell off the bed. I actually had to get in the standby line for her autograph
session today cause the tickets sold out. I was lucky to even get in.
We went and did the Who wants to be a Millionaire with Dan G and Kassie. Kassie
was smart..LOL...Dan G wasn't... (then again I wasn't too smart either…LOL)
They had these hysterical Soap Sisters to warm up the crowd. They were so funny.
And they had these survey thingies at the SoapNet building where you answered
like ten questions and it tells you who like the most character you are and mine
came up MARCIE!! hehe..I bout died laughing cause you get a button with the
stars faces on it. I wanted the Marcie button so I was answering like I thought Marcie
would. It floored me when her face came up. LOL.. I'm good.
We also did a couple rides…the Star Tours one was cool. I love the whole space
thingy and so this was in the form of Star Wars and had a shuttle that went
through space and the pilot was a dufus so we had to dodge all kinds of stuff.
It was so fun…LOL
Oh yesterday… in the star conversations that they do with after the motorcades
Kathy said that she has to eat to keep her weight on.
Ty and Lisa did the Star Conversations and Motorcade. They were there yesterday
but they weren't there today. Alot of it was taped for Soapnet to be aired
later. I think Nov 17 but I'm not really for sure. I wasn't paying attention
cause I don’t have SoapNet.
I can't remember anything else..LOL..
The others will have to check in so I can remember more..
Oh Nancy...I was so bad I had to call my sister to find out if OU won or not. I
kept telling myself I could wait until I got home but I couldn't do it..lol...
And whe I heard the score I squealed pretty loudly. LOL

As Tina said I got to meet her, and Deb. We had a great time hanging out and
gushing about MarcAL!
Let's see if I can fill anyone in on what Kathy said and Tina might have missed!
During the motorcade Kathy said that her understudy who took over for her this
weekend looked just like her. She said that it was scary on how much she looked
like her. They could be sisters. Kathy would like to make a CD. She has been
wanting to make a CD since she was young but she didn't feel comfortable in her
body (since you need to look perfect in the music business), but now she feels
comfortable in her body and is ready to make a CD (but she didn't say when).
She said that
she has 16 hour days. By the time she goes to Hairspray she has already worked
12 hours at OLTL and is wiped when she gets home. She shares a dressing room
with Kat Hickland and Kat got Kathy an areobed to sleep on in their dressing
room so she can get rest. Kat said that the room is really small and when she
opens the door and hears "crunch" and sees the lights off she knows
that Kathy is sleeping and will go somewhere else. Kathy then said that Kat only
sees her (meaning Kathy) sleeping! LOL
Kathy told a
story about a fan encounter in NYC where she met 3 women who chases her down the
street calling her "Marcie girl." Even after Kathy told them her name
was Kathy they still called her "Marcie girl." They went on to tell
her that she looked fat on tv, but wasn't fat. They also went on to tell her how
much they loved her and MarcAL. Kathy said that she loved these women and they
made her laugh.
Kathy said
that they most memorable moment at SSW happened after she sang at the Street
Jam. A 7 year old girl came up to Kathy and told her that she was beautiful and
then told Kathy that she wanted to be just like her. Kathy said that she was
touched by this.
Kathy and her
friends (she brought her best friend Iris to SSW with her) went on the new ride
at Epcot (I forgot the name of it) and got sick. So, when she came for the talk
show on Sunday she was white as a ghost because she got motion sickness.
However, she went on all the Rockin Roller Coaster and loved it. She said that
loves Roller Coasters.
Linda Dano
told a story about how a few weeks ago Kathy looked like she has measles on her
face. Kathy then said that she broke out from stress and being tired (and let me
tell you all Kathy's skin did not look good this weekend. She was still broken
out).
Kathy said
that she is between a size 10 and 12 right now. But, when she started to do OLTL
and Hairspray full time she lost a whole dress size. She said that all the
actresses at OLTL hate her because she gets to pig out to keep her weight out.
She has the opposite problem then the others at OLTL. LOL Kathy said that she
loves to eat and has to eat a lot because being onstage in Hairspray (she said
that shoe is 2 1/2 hours long and out of that 2 1/2 hours Kathy is only offstage
7 1/2 minutes) because it is so a work out. Kathy said that when she started out
in show business she was a size 10 and was told that she was too fat and needed
to loose weight. So, she got herself down to a size 6 and a 100 lbs soaking wet.
Well, at a size 6 Kathy said that people were telling her that she was still too
fat so she decided to be herself and be comfortable with herself, which is at
this weight.
As Tina said
Kathy said that she loves having Nathaniel back at OLTL. She said that he is her
best friend and her heart at OLTL. He keeps her sane and laughing. She also said
that when she didn't expect for MarcAl to become so huge and popular. But, she
understands why (because they are like your neighbors next store that will shop
at K-Mart). She said when she first started on OLTL her and Nathaniel just
seemed to find their way to each other. It was like they were drawn to one
another. Even when they weren't in scenes together they would hang out off set.
Finally, tptb realized that they had chemistry and started to put them in more
scenes together until they finally decided to pair them together. During the
press interview Kathy was asked if she thought the fans were happy with the
storyline (since we some were expecting NM to be Al and not Michael). Kathy said
that some like the storyline and some don't and you can't please everyone. But
she did say that she couldn't really give away the storyline, but thought that
everyone would be happy because NM was back for good and would be getting
Michael's body.
Kathy told me
personally that she did extend her Hairspray contract until February 28, 2004.
She said January and February are good months to see Hairspray because it is not
that busy. Kathy was VERY friendly and recognized me the first day from meeting
her outside of Hairspray and OLTL last week. She was very funny. When she saw me
the second day she was joking with me and said "oh lord you are back."
Kathy was very friendly and funny. Her autograph sessions sold out quick and all
the fans (even non-OLTL fans) loved her singing. Everyone loved her singing so
much that Kathy sold out her autograph session even quicker on Sunday. She was
the first OLTL female to sell out! Go Kathy!
Someone asked
Kathy who she admired. Kathy said her mother and her grandmother. She said that
they are both strong figures in her life she really admires them. Kathy said
that her grandmother was ahead of her time and at 17 years old was a navy nurse.
Her grandmother taught her to be anything she wanted to be. I asked Kathy if she
was overwhelmed being at SSW. Kathy said that she definitely was overwhelmed
because this SSW was much more crazier then California SSW. She said that she
was not expecting people to follow her etc (yes she was followed because she is
so popular....lol), but was having a good time. Everyone that I spoke to said
that they enjoyed meeting Kathy and she was really nice.
I think that is about all I can remember now. But, I have it all on tape so as I
watch the tape and make them for people and remember stuff I will post more.
I must said it was a great weekend. Not only meeting Kathy, but getting to hang
out with Deb and Tina! So, thanks guys!

I drove down to Florida on Thursday with my friend Paula. Well our 16 hour trip
took 20, so we didn't even arrive in Florida until 530am Friday morning! I was
totally beat, not a good way to start off the weekend.
Saturday, we got up at 430am and were at MGM by 630 and standing in line. Deana
found me and we chatted for a bit. They opened the gate at 730 and let people
about 100 yards into the park and then stopped us again. They divided us up by
what Fast Pass you wanted first. Of course, Deana and I wanted OLTL so we went
into that group. Paula and by this point Heather went off in another direction,
so that left just me and Tink on our own.
MGM didn't know what hit it.
First we kept the line entertained by saying just completely stupid and off the
wall stuff. "OH MY GOD!!!! WE MOVED 2 FEET!!!!! WATER WATER I NEED
WATER!!"
So finally they moved us far enough that we could actually see the Fast Pass
machines. They took Kassie DePaiva's sign down because she had gotten sick the
night before and Hillary B Smith had to take her to the emergency room.
They were giving out the tickets at the Indiana Jones Adventure. So, they made
us walk through this jungle type thing. I was yelling out "And now, we're
at Angel Square, boy it's certainly overgrown, someone should call the
commissioner and complain about this." Tee Hee
Michael Easton was the big ticket grabber of the day for OLTL fans. And, much to
our chagrin, they had he and Kathy on the same machine. Deana and I got about 30
people away from the machine and it jammed. So, Deana was telling them to move
Kathy to another machine while I was yelling for people to rip the top of the
machine and grab the tickets. Tee Hee The MGM security guards (yellow shirts)
just loved us.
So we got to the machine and put in our ticket.... Deana and I both got the
first time block in Kathy's first autograph session.
So, from there, beings it was 87 degrees and 100% humidity, we went over to get
some water. And then we scoped out a place for Kathy's motorcade and star
conversation, which ended out being filmed for SoapNet. (It's airing on 11/19 at
11PM) There we met up with Tina and Christina. We all had a blast and really
gave our cell phones a work out!
Kathy looked adorable! I think she was wearing a Marcie outfit that day too.
 The black pants with the
black shirt with white flower designs on it, kind of cut low. That and black
shades and high heels. Our girl was stylin'!
People were trying to get Dan to take his shirt off. He kept teasing, but
wouldn't do it. So someone stood up and told Kathy that she was beautiful, and
that it was so wonderful to have someone like her on the show. Then, someone
yelled for her (Kathy) to take her shirt off! Kathy goes "Oh you'll have to
pay a lot of money to see this" and gestured to her chest. Dan said
"I've paid a lot of money already and NOTHING!" Kathy goes "You
haven't paid a thing!" ROFL
Aside from that, the rest of the SoapNet thing was your basic question/answer
stuff. Kathy did say that she and Cat share a 4x4 dressing room, and that Kathy
has an Aerobed that she spreads out on the floor and sleeps on. Cat said she'll
come into work, open the door and BOOM! then whispers "Sorry Kathy"
and goes and sits somewhere else.
Kathy also mentioned that Dan and Trevor share a dressing room, and that they're
so loud in there (laughing and carrying on) that they wake her up.
From there, Kathy had a little break in her day so I was off to another event.
Deana and I were supposed to meet up at Kathy's 12:30 Talk Show appearance but
we couldn't find each other.
In the Talk Show, Kathy had me ROFL Linda Dano and Hillary were talking about
that Kathy had just moved and they were going to decorate her apartment for her
cuz she didn't have time. LOL So Kathy came out and Linda wanted to get her to
sing.
So, she gets up, goes to the front of the stage and tells the audience that
she's going to sing something we've all heard before, a Janis Joplin song
because she loves Janis. So she takes a deep breath and starts singing
"Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns N Roses. I was thinking "Wait,
that's not the Janis Joplin song she sang...."
She got about 2 lines in and then froze and went "OH MY GOD THAT"S THE
WRONG SONG!!!!! I don't even know who I am anymore, am I Kathy am I Marcie am I
Tracy?! I don't even know!" We were cracking up at her!
Linda and Hillary had to come up and hold her hand to calm her down. It was an
absolute riot! Kathy didn't get to say too much during the Talk Show because
they had so many OLTL cast members in it and they had to introduce them all.
From there another little break in the action before Kathy's autograph session.
Deana and I were in line together at this point. She was taping and I was
snapping pics.
When my turn came Kathy looked up and said "I knew you were going to be
here!" Tee Hee I'm living up to my stalker persona I guess.
 So she and I talked
about some stuff, and when I tried to step away to let the next person go, she
took my shirt and pulled me back over to her. I think at this point she was
starting to feel overwhelmed and needed a familiar face.
So after I got a HUGE hug from her it was Deana's turn. Kathy remembered her too
and they had a funny exchange.
From there we had a big
break in Kathy's action so we split up again and went off to relax.
At 5:15, we all met up again and the group of us went into Kathy's media
interview. There are only a few fans let into this event and we all got into the
front row. Tee Hee
Kathy came in and saw me and waved. LOL Seriously Kathy, we're not stalkers!
LMAO
This was where she gave that incredible answer about Nathaniel. "He's my
heart, he keeps me sane and laughing...." It was great! Here's a pic of

From there it was
time to stake out a position for the Grand Motorcade and Street Jam. During the
concert, Deana and I were getting pissed because everyone was performing but
Kathy! We're screaming "WHERE"S KATHY?!!!" and chanting her name.
She was the last performer, and WHOA!!!! She blew the hat right off of Mickey
Mouse's head! OMG she was amazing! Deana and I were dancing and singing along
since it was a song from "Hairspray"! At one point when she hold this
one note a really long time, someone behind us yelled out "HOLY SH*T!!!!"
I started ROFL That's our girl!!!
When she was done, she got a HUGE ovation, so loud that she kept going
"Stop it stop it you guys are nuts!" It was toooooo funny.
The rest of the singers joined her onstage and Kathy was able to introduce the
finale, which was all of them singing "America the Beautiful" while
fireworks went off in the background. Since Kassie DePaiva was sick and unable
to sing that night, Kathy had to do 2 verses. Incredible!!
Finally, the day was over and as Deana and I were leaving the park, people were
all talking about Kathy, how amazing she was, and how they wanted to get into
her autograph line on Sunday.
We had our work cut out for us then!

We rose again at 4:30AM, went to 7 Eleven for Coffee (mmmm, banana caramel
coffee) and were off to MGM.
I had decided that I wasn't going to get in Kathy's autograph line. I'd already
met her several times, and gotten her autograph and spoke with her the day
before, so I was going to use her autograph session as some down time. Well,
Tink had other ideas. LOL
So, I got the Fast Pass to see Eva La Rue play Millionaire and went to scope out
a place for me and Tink to watch Kathy's Motorcade and Star Conversation.
Tink then called my cellphone and said that she got her Fast Pass ticket for
Kathy, and then got back in line and grabbed one for me. What a sweetheart!
 Knowing that I was
splitting myself up between Kathy and Eva, the girls were taking care of me. Tee
Hee
Tink came over and joined me and we were ready for the motorcade. Once it
started, we both said "Kathy's got on the outfit Marcie wore when she and
Al almost made love and he fell off the bed!" That was too cute. Tee hee
Kathy spoke a lot more on Sunday than Saturday. She talked about again sleeping
on her dressing room floor on an Aerobed, her funniest fan encounter
(Marcie-girl! You're not half as fat as you look on TV!) and about having Meryl
Streep come backstage of Hairspray and want to meet her.
Kathy's next event was the Talk Show... and our girl had a little problem. In
the time between the two events, Kathy and her best friend Iris had gone over to
Epcot. Kathy got on Body Wars and got sick. She said 1 1/2 minute into the ride
she was like "Get me off of here!" She looked really pale and ready to
just go to sleep the poor thing.
The talk show was an absolute riot! Kathy got a standing ovation and she was
going "You people don't have to stand up for me, sit!"
Kathy talked about people in their business telling her she was too fat, so she
dropped her weight down to 100 pounds when she was wet, a size 6. People still
told her she was too fat, so she rebelled against them and went all the way up
to a size 16. She wasn't comfortable with her body there so she decided the heck
with it and got to a place where she was happy. She said she's a 10/12 now,
perfectly healthy and comfortable where she is.
I was hoping to get some deep dark secret about her when Linda Dano asked her
What's one thing people will be surprised to know about you? Kathy got out of it
and said "Well I guess that I can sing...." LOL (Unlike Eva who during
her talk show said "I have a trucker mouth" ROFL Another story for
another board
)
The men stole the show this time. Between Dan Gauthier, Tuc Watkins, and Trevor
St John, the entire audience and cast was literally ROFL At some points, Kathy
and Hillary were laughing so hard they were bent over!
From there, it was off to Kathy's autograph session. I totally missed Tink over
there, but I had a fun time because of the security guards. Kathy and Eva had
the same station, so they all knew me as it was. They were threatening to tell
Eva that I was cheating on her, and one of them took my Fast Pass ticket and
wouldn't give it back. We were play arguing kind of loud which made Kathy turn
around and look like "What the heck are they doing?!" :rofl3: When
Kathy realized it was me she just laughed and kept going with her line. See, I
try to be a good girl and people get me into trouble!
I spoke just briefly to Kathy on Sunday (unlike Saturday) as I was getting an
autograph for Stacy, since she's all the way on the West Coast and flying all
the way to New York "To see Kathy Brier in Hairspray!"
I started to leave and Kathy goes "Did you bring your camera?" I was
like "Oh duh, yeah I forgot, I'm stupid." I said it as Kathy put her
arm around me and she goes "No your not!" and hit me on the back! I
said "Oww!" Like a little kid which cracked her up again. So I thanked
her and was off on my merry way.

Kathy seemed really
tired and a bit overwhelmed at this point. SSW Florida is totally different from
California, and I think it really blew her mind. She mentioned that it was
"Just crazy". I had some first hand experience of what the stars go
through at one point, walking with Eva through a small part of the park. It was
terrifying, fans running up grabbing, yelling, pulling, snapping pics, etc. And
we were surrounded by 5 security guards from Disney. OMG, I couldn't imagine
going through that for an entire weekend. All of the actors have my utmost
respect for it.
From there it was on to the Grand Motorcade. Tink and I found each other again
and had some gossiping to do..... Lucky for me that once the parade began, Eva
came right before Kathy. I started laughing when I realized that Kathy had gone
back to her hotel, changed into a pair of jeans and her denim jacket, and pulled
her hair into a knot. That's how I'm used to seeing her leave Hairspray at
night. LOL
From there, she ended up on the stage dancing with Stitch from "Lilo and
Stitch". It was sooooo adorable!!!
The weekend was exhausting, but so worth the trip. It was so great meeting some
people from the board, hanging out and causing trouble with them! ROFL
I recommend Tink's tape for anyone who couldn't be there. (If you can ignore
mine and Tink's comments and screams for Kathy LOL) She was at all of Kathy's
events and got all of them on tape.
