        Golden Moment

        Take a moment from your labors -
        In the folds of every day -
        To pay homage to Lord Jesus
        Who befriends your weary way;
        It will be a golden moment
        Of remembrance and prayer
        And make better - in its passing -
        Every love you have to share.

        Just a moment of devotion
        To show honor to the Lord
        And to worship Him, in glory,
        For His blessings and rewards;
        Just a fleeting, faithful moment,
        He will gild with lasting gold
        And include it in His judgement
        Of your worthiness to soul.

        The Change Of Seasons

        The air turns cool, the leaves turn brown,
        A change is taking place,
        And everywhere the signs appear
        Of Fall's approaching face.

        The birds begin their southward flight
        That takes them far away,
        And in their plaintive song and cry
        A fond goodbye they say.

        A season dies, a new one's born
        Like night gives way to day.
        Such is the wondrous work of God
        In His own chosen way.

        The Artist

        The One Who is the source
        Of all beauty that meets the eye
        Designed the splendor of each flower
        And the bright new morning sky.
        Each snowflake is so different,
        Not one of them the same;
        The stars that shine so brightly,
        He knows each one of them by name.
        His gracious hand is evident
        In each colorful Autumn scene.
        The nighttime sky is His canvas,
        A backdrop that's so peaceful and serene.
        We feel the warmth of His smile
        In each golden ray of sun;
        The love from His gracious Spirit
        Touches the lives of everyone.
        He gives joy and brilliance to our days
        When each sunrise comes anew;
        Such wonder and majesty fill this world,
        This superb Artist, my God, is You.

        Autumn Storehouse

        I like to take October days
        And store them in my mind,
        To warm me during Winter's reign
        When nature proves unkind.

        Then I remember sunshine,
        The Autumn rich with gold,
        And tawny fields a-flower
        With wonders quite untold.

        My thoughts will ease the moments
        When in reverie I dwell,
        And linger for the present
        In some bright majestic dell.

        they might find enjoyment in them as I have. I make no profit from this page
