This animal was quickly known as the grandfather of all tyrannosaurids, but in the recent time, much doubt
has been given to this hypothesis. Time will show wether Siamotyrannus is Tyrannosaurus's
ancestor, or another theropod dinosaur, unrelated to tyrannosaurids.
