Therizinosaurus cheloniformis

Therizinosaurus cheloniformis

Nanshiungosaurus brevispinus, w. Therizinosaurus cheloniformis arms

This huge animal is really only known by claws, and some other fragments. This reconstruction is based
on Alxasaurus, Erlikosaurus and Segnosaurus, while the claws are purely Therizinosaurus

One can easily see the pubis turned backwards to form a confortable 'seat' for the animal when feeding.

The Nanshiungosaurus skeleton is based on the only remains left by this species (neck/back vertebrae,
partial pelvis) and is fitted with Therizinosaurus arms. NOTE: Nanshiungosaurus skeleton and
Therizinosaurus arms are NOT to scale!
