Welcome! I don't see many people out this way. Have some tea.

I am a Taoist, and this could be described as a web site about Taoism, but really Taoism isn't about words. Taoism is really about being and doing.

Nevertheless, while you are working up to the being and doing part of Taoism, there are a lot of resources available to head you in the right direction. Also, I always have some of my own artwork and writing to show, so lets get started!

Here's a quote from the Tao Te Ching, written by the legendary philosopher Lao Tzu around 500 b.c. or thereabouts. Tao Te Ching means
"The Book of the Way and It's Power":

"All men will come to him who
keeps to the one,
For there lie rest and happiness and peace.
Passersby may stop for music and good food,
But a description of the Tao
seems without substance or flavor.
It cannot be seen, it cannot be heard,
And yet it cannot be exhausted."
