Background/History:
Many years ago, Esmerelda, the witch that cursed Crykill, ended up in Germany and caused many magical disturbances and such. Baron Schleswig and his men stormed her castle with the intent of ending her reign of terror. After hours of pitched battle, the bloodied Baron finally faced the witch and she was near death. She had in her possession a magical brooch that when activated by the blood of a good man would suck him into the brooch and make him a spectral slave to whomever held it. Casting a spell that caused her to be drawn in to the brooch as well, in a desperate attempt to survive the encounter, she triggered the brooch with the Baron’s blood and they both disappeared inside it. Mourning the loss of the Baron, his men sealed the castle to keep any remaining evil contained. A band of Nazi soldiers stumbled across the ruins and found both the brooch and her instructions on how to use it. Upon her release, Esmerelda called forth the transformed Baron and used him to aid the Reich forcing him to join the Super SS. He worked under their command, until All American broke in to their headquarters and confronted the witch. When she used the brooch to call forth the Baron, he figured out that she used it to control him as well. The hero wrested the brooch from her grasp, shattered it on the ground, which freed the Baron to strangle the witch to death. The Baron thanked All American and went on to his final reward.
Personality/Motivations:
He lived his life as a good man, loved and respected by all. The curse of the brooch forced him to do evil against his will.
