Background/History:
Gretchen was a simple secretary working for a member of Hitler’s cabinet. The
attractive blond was the epitome of an Aryan woman and was quite unaware of her
beauty. Meeting the Fuhrer unexpectedly, she was very understandably shaken in
his presence and he took that to be an invitation. She tried to politely refuse
his advances and rage flared across his face, but only for a second. He simply
dismissed her and she thought the matter was done. The next day, she was
transferred to the employ of the scientists who had created Major Terror. Her
horror at the sight of the concentration camp and the experiments that were
being performed made her run, but she did not get far. She was to become an
experiment herself for refusing Hitler. Using a number of different procedures,
they attempted to give her superpowers, primarily flight and enhanced speed and
strength. It had been stressed to the scientists to do everything as painfully
as possible. Various chemicals rumored to be used by Dr. Koloff were injected
into the poor girl whose mind had long since shut down due to the pain inflicted
on her and she was placed in a chamber that would allow hundreds of volts to
charge through her body. They had become bored and decided to ‘accidentally’
electrocute her since they did not think their Fuhrer would mind. They strained
their generators to the limit and the chamber exploded taking quite a bit of the
building with it. Satisfied to write off the experiment as a failure, they were
shocked to hear a screeching birdlike cry from the rubble. No longer a blond and
beautiful girl, a red haired horror with leathery bat-like wings and long razor
sharp claws savagely attacked and slaughtered everyone in the room. Guards
contained her by shooting her with tranquilizers and, since she had no memory of
her past, they used simple brainwashing techniques to turn her into a near
perfect weapon for the Super SS. Iron Cross took the opportunity afforded by her
slowed mental capacity to treat her as a pet which worked exceedingly well. She
is very protective of him and obedient as well.
Personality/Motivations:
Her mind was broken to the point that she seems to have almost no personality or
desire to do anything more than what she is told to please her superiors and
especially Iron Cross. She is very much like a trained attack animal, vicious
and deadly on command.
