Background/History:
Von Stroik was a promising young Gestapo officer whose record of ruthlessness
and brutality had brought him to the attention of the Fuhrer. The ascension of
the Nazi Party had given his life purpose and a way to vent his anger and hatred
for virtually any and everyone. His meeting with Hitler was to be his crowning
achievement, but Hitler’s plans for the young man were destined to be
interrupted as his plane was shot down heading to Berlin. No one should have
survived the crash, but a spark of like remained in his burned and broken body.
The crash site was near a concentration camp where numerous experiments had been
carried out on the prisoners, so he was taken there to be experimented on. Their
attempts to revive the dead had failed, but they had had some success stopping
death, leaving horribly damaged bodies trapped in a mockery of life. Only total
physical destruction would free the poor individuals from this fate worse than
death. Hitler commanded them to salvage this soldier, surely a man born from the
master race would be more hardy than the Jews they had been working with.
Because of the order, the scientists tried everything and surprisingly, the
process worked on Von Stroik. His burned and shriveled skin became taut and
yellowed, giving him a skeletal appearance. His strength and toughness increased
to superhuman levels, as well as gaining the ability to raise corpses into
zombies at his command. Fortunately, an errant Allied bomb strike destroyed the
laboratory and the research leaving Von Stroik as the sole survivor of the
project. Hitler’s way of rewarding him was to promote him to the rank of Major
and placing him in the Super SS where he became known as Major Terror.
Personality/Motivations:
His young life had been spent trying to become the greatest swordsman in the
world with an intention of winning an Olympic medal. His penchant for harming
his opponents forced him out of competition and his poor attitude turned into a
burning hatred of virtually everyone. He transferred that into the drive to
become the best Nazi soldier. His physical appearance now merely reflects the
rot on his black soul as he gleefully spreads fear and death at the command of
his Fuhrer.
