Background/History:
The Rothsteins emigrated from Germany during WW 2 after being freed from a
prison camp. Jacob’s grandparents had been experimented on by Nazi scientists
using materials stolen from Dr. Koloff. When they were freed, they showed no
signs of any type of effect from the experimentation. Their son, Joshua, was
also perfectly normal. Jacob, however, was born a mutant with increased speed
and dexterity and the ability to control air. He had been raised to follow in
his family tradition as a jeweler, but his curiosity led him to continually
experiment with his powers and he felt strongly the need to use them to make the
world a better place. After a heated battle involving the Death Squad, he joined
the Attack Legion and modified his costume to include the Star of David to show
his respect for his heritage.
Personality/Motivations:
Probably one of the most moderate and even tempered members of the team, Zephyr
tries to be a good example to the more boisterous heroes. He is more in to being
helpful, than he is to punishing criminals, but he is not shy to use his powers,
especially to protect the innocent and to stop murderers.
