Background/History:
In 1975, when the US Government need something done, and needed it done quietly,
with no loose ends that could be traced back to them, they called on Kory
Willis. A practiced athlete, Kory was also trained in black ops, though he had
no direct government ties. He was the ultimate freelance agent. Then, came the
mission. A neo-Nazi splinter cell was following up on Hitler’s plan to gather
ancient mystical artifacts of great power. Working for the Nazis was the evil
genius Dr. Schmit. Working his leads, he discovered that Schmit was searching
for the Death Shield and Sword of Tyr, both supposedly hidden in the depths of
Scandinavian Lapland. By falsifying certain information and making sure that it
fell into Shmit’s hands, he was able to reach the artifacts before the Nazis,
but only minutes before. Armored troops burst in as Kory grasped the sword and
shield. The armor was bulletproof, but the sword cut through it like a hot knife
through butter when Kory attacked. With this new weaponry at his command, he
fought his way through Schmit’s stormtroopers and, since the government paid
him only to keep the artifacts out of Schmit’s hands, he kept them for
himself. He decided that he could use these tools fight people like Schmit and
the newly resurgent Death Squad. On this day, the Attacker was born.
Personality and Motivations:
Attacker is motivated by an intense love of freedom and hatred of repression.
Totalitarian organizations like neo-Nazis and Communists strike a cord in him
that makes him want to take action. There is also some possibility that the
Sword and Shield intensify this sense of outrage, making him more willing to
take direct action and work less covertly than he did before finding them. He is
a born leader and will never surrender.
