Keeper of Infinite Earths - Destructor Force
Created by Matt Parmenter
Amorphous
Alter Ego: Nicoli Malkof
Occupation: Super Hero / Body Guard
Known Relatives: None
Group Affiliation: Destructor Force
Base of Operations: Freak Town, Michigan
Background/History:
A gray skinned baby was found on the steps of a government office building in Moscow. Thought to be a mutant, he was turned over to Dr. Koloff for study and ended up in the prison camp-like research facility with many other mutants and Koloff’s failed experiments. Koloff’s dungeon was his home and torture chamber growing up. The doctor tried anything he could to increase Amorphous’ abilities, eventually causing him to lose his human shape almost entirely. His life was that of a constant lab rat forced to endure extremes of heat and cold, stretching and growing until the pain knocked him out. His fellow prisoners felt sorry for him and helped him escape. He was told that in America mutants were accepted and even respected, so he sneaked on a plane to the US. When he arrived, he sought asylum. The government officials thought that he was more likely an alien than a mutant and sent him to Mixatillion, an alien himself, instead of Dr. White, the mutant expert. He became like a son to Mixatillion and joined Destructor Force, eventually taking over leadership of the group as his heir. The team became paid bodyguards for Walter Penwright Jr. after they saved his life and settled in western Michigan. Their presence attracted other freaks and oddities to the point that they founded Freak Town as a safe haven for those who were different. After the end of the Cold War, he returned to Russia only to find Koloff’s dungeon gone without a trace.
Personality/Motivations:
Perhaps due to telepathy being his primary mode of communication, Amorphous is
surprisingly pleasant and tolerant of other’s reactions to his appearance. He
is very comfortable with his abilities and his responsibilities due in part to
being so grateful to not be where he was raised.
Quote: "Your thoughts are annoying me." as told through Telepathy
