Background/History:
Inferno retired as soon as she became pregnant and she went into virtual
seclusion. Her husband transferred to Houston and they started a new life. She
thought her powers were fading anyway and she simply became a stay home mom.
Almost immediately, the newborn Todd had a fever and it was a cause for alarm.
Eventually, they just accepted his 104 degree body temperature. Aside from being
a bit quicker than normal, he was a typical kid until his thirteenth birthday
when he burst into flames. His mother calmed him down and coached him into
controlling the same type of powers she had had. She still had them and was able
to teach him how to use them safely. At first, the family decided to ignore them
because the super hero life was too dangerous, but Todd researched his mother’s
career and felt that he would be wasting a gift and betraying his mother’s
life’s work. Since he could never seem to decide on what he truly wanted to
be, his course became clear. After gaining a bit of a reputation as Pyroman, the
children of Inferno’s Circle of Justice teammates formed the Legacy. He
contacted them and explained who he was, so he moved to Atlanta to join them. He
continues to try various courses to find a vocation, but the only thing he is
profoundly good at is being hero.
Personality/Motivations:
Todd is a pretty typical nice guy, always ready to help old ladies across the
street. He genuinely enjoys helping people, saving lives, and living up to the
legacy of his mother and her team.
